The Watermark Restaurant — Restaurant in Waverley

We headed to Frensham Great Pond for a nice day out and planned to find a restaurant for lunch. We found this hotel and restaurant with convenient parking and as the kids were hungry we ventured in as the food looked good on photos we’d seen online. It was a strange set up. It felt like more of a conference room than restaurant.

The food was ok, but certainly not worth what we were charged unfortunately. A very distinct lack of seasoning on all dishes.

The service was great and very professional, but the food fell below the mark, especially for the amount we were charged.

The bar menu was more inviting and cheaper.

Also, I regret to say that I suffered an upset stomach within an hour of eating here which lasted the rest of the day.

Order two cappuccinos, two cold sandwiches and one hot baguette, been waiting for more than half an hours, finished our cappuccinos food never came.

Ask for refund, no receipts, just told to wait for our bank process, all rely on my bank record.

Got partially refund! My total order was £41.69, they only refunded me £30, they mistakenly charged me £11.xx for 2 cappuccino.

On their menu a cappuccino cost £3.95, it’s ok they were not generous enough to refund all, but they even overcharged me for 2 cappuccinos! Hope that’s not 2X% service charge because they had no service at...

Amazing Sunday roast dinner served by the friendly and attentive waiter Dhruv. The vegetables and cauliflower cheese were cooked deliciously and complimented the selection of beef, pork and chicken. Nothing was too much trouble even when extra gravy and Yorkshire puddings were requested. We were left so full but the cheese board looked so appetising that they offered to make us a smaller version which was just enough to share with the others.
