where do I start, as soon as I walked in some elderly woman's dog started barking uncontrollably at me. After she got that rabid beast under control I went over to have a word with her. She was asian and did not speak a word of english-at least thats what she told me, she said "no english" with a typical asian accent. When I used google translate she started glaring at me and screaming profanities at me in her native language. So I quickly bowed and ran to the restroom because I was so afraid from this interaction. After about 47 minutes of me hiding in the bathroom and planning out my order I came out and checked carefully, I tiptoed around the entrance of the bathroom, I took deep breaths and I looked and that asian and her pet was gone. I felt so relieved I sighed and this homeless guy approached me and asked if everything was okay. When I answered no because I didn't want to bother him-he backed me into a cubicle and said that it was okay. He started stroking and playing with my hair so I smacked his hand away and said that if anyone needed to talk about their feelings it was him because he was homeless, he was wearing a dark blue torn shirt and skinny jeans that he probably stole from Tesco. After I said that he looked flabbergasted and I knew this was my chance to escape so I sprinted out as fast as I could and hid in shell the gas station next door. I stayed there for about 3 hours and I finally went back into the McDonalds. At this point it was already 4pm and suddenly a herd of 14-16 year olds came running in and cutting in line. At this point I was so mad that I had already forgotten what I planned to order earlier in the bathroom hiding from the angry asian woman with a terrifying beast for a pet. Not much to say about them just that they cut in line and were noisy. Once I FINALLY got up to the counter I ordered a double cheeseburger, large fries, 6pc nuggets, and an oreo mcflurry now believe it or not but the ice cream machine was NOT broken for once, thank the lord. Anyways in conclusion and my overall, final, total rating this was a hectic, chaotic day for me and i rate this...
Read moreWe tried to place an order with the app. It wouldn't work. It kept saying whoops with an error. So we used a screen inside. We placed our order and waited. When it was ready, they said the number and then left it on the side. I went up to collect it and I had to stand for a while waiting as the staff were busy. We kept making awkward eye contact. Ikept waiting as I needed to speak to someone to ask for something. The bigger lady with dark brown/blonde hair and glasses who worked there who I assume was the shift leader came up with someone else's order so I asked her if she could help me. She snapped at me that she'd help once she'd finished helping another customer. My bad.. But it made me feel really humiliated for wanting assistance. I then asked her if I could have a syrup to go with my breakfast and she said no, you have to pay for them. Which is fine, I only asked. I've never been asked to pay for one before anywhere else so wasn't expecting her reply. But her tone was so angry. I feel like she doesn't really treat customers very nicely. Maybe I caught her on a bad morning.. You come out for food expecting to be relaxed and have an enjoyable experience and I actually felt like I wanted to cry she was so off and rude. Customer service was appalling. Maresfield mcdonald's has always been known as the best one to come to as the staff are normally friendly and the food is normally great, but not any more. Our large drinks were filled about 70%. The lattes were cold. The hot chocolate was so hot it was undrinkable for about 20 minutes. I didn't feel like I could go and mention any of this as I was sure I wouldn't receive a nice or helpful reply. Overall a horrendous experience. I will not be coming back to this mcdonald's....
Read moreMy visit to your store was all together rather pleasant however an event occurred and I feel I need to bring this to your attention. At precisely 6.53am I received a phone call which halted my route to the first order window. Upon finishing my call I discovered to my dismay a black BMW had pulled in front of me. It was now 6.56am and we seemed to be stuck in a ground hog day type moment, one can only assume the gentleman in said BMW had ordered a rather peculiar breakfast item as time was ticking. I had only ordered two hot beverages but now was forced to wait for the gentleman in front to receive his hybrid muffin/roll/bagel. Sometime later I eventually received my hot beverages and was shocked at the temperature of the hot waxed paper cup. It was in this moment of despair that I realised I was not wearing my glasses, for if I was I would have seen the warning sign on the cup and prepared my self for intense change of temperature that my delicate hands would have to endure. Thankfully the young man that served me warned of the impending danger that lay ahead. If not for his outspoken nature and bravery I would surely of...
