Mulberry & Thyme Eastbourne — Restaurant in Wealden

I keep trying this cafe, purely because it's a convenient meeting place....But I'm sorry to say every time it falls short in some way. This time, although a minor fail... I ordered the veggie breakfast for £9.99...no complaints there...particularly as it came inclusive of tea or filter coffee.(Here's the short fall) . Now of late,it has come to my attention that coffee comes with many names... ( Who is really up to speed with this?)... I requested an Americano....which to my understanding was a black coffee, as I'm very often corrected when asking for such. I was charged £10.49. On questioning this, I was told this it was because I had an Americano and not filter coffee.....FFS what's the difference? Google tells me it's black coffee.... So...

Can only comment on the light breakfast but not good. Light means light 1 smoked fatty bacon more fatty,1 egg only thing liked, 1 sausage, half tomato, mushrooms. Hardly anything on plate to. Not like other places on small or light. I think prob better on cake toasty side. If go again will...
