Cracking pub with Camden Pale & good home cooked grub. Big garden & friendly staff. We had a lovely afternoon off from fishing at Frant Lakes. Came here again last week. No change, still a good & good food 😊🍺

Staying close by to this little gem of a place. Just enjoyed a delicious lunch in the sun trap of a garden. Great staff, friendly place and would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous pub, everything a local country pub should be. My husband arranged my birthday party there and it was the most awesome night ever... Thank you Niall and family.

Popped in on a whim late on Friday lunchtime. Attracted fish and chips advert. A Harvey's house, so reasonably sure there'd be a good beer to wash down the f&C's. I had haddock and chips with mushy peas.(Garden peas also available) with a pint of Harvey's Sussex best bitter. I was not disappointed, the batter was crispy and cooked to perfection as was the fish within. The chips are worthy of separate mention, crisp outside soft interior, just how chips should be. Great mushy peas made the complete dish. The pint of Harvey's was beautifully kept and delicious. I sat in the garden which has plenty of seating but sadly too few people to provide an atmosphere, probably due to late arrival for lunchtime. Service was cheerful and efficient with staff eager to describe all the beers available, I was given a taste of one, Camden Pale but had my mind set on Harvey's Best. Well worth a visit if you are on the Kent/Sussex border near...

Shambles, so I gave this pub a 1 star a month ago, about not have a high chair for our 10 month old son which we had to leave because they wouldn't help us out which was unbelievable, then the manager replied on this review as you can see, he apologised and offered us a meal on them so I fault that was a nice gesture and agreed , I gave him my email to confirm that and book it in, he hasnt emailed me or got back to me , so not only they ruined our sunday lunch and we went back home as we couldn't get in anywhere his lying to me aswell, very poor place and...

Just ordered a takeaway from the Brecknock Arms, only took fifteen minutes to prepare, the large fish tasted very fresh, the chips were delicious the home made cheese beef burger was very hot, generous and tasty with a lovely garnish. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices very reasonable and competitive, considering what others in the area offer. Will be coming back very soon for a meal in, the pub is very inviting with nice attractive and clean decor. Dogs are welcome and has a lovely garden with large...
