Went for lunch today after a visit to Martin Mere! What a great find! Enjoyed a delicious fish and chips, pot of tea, and a stunning coffee and walnut cake (boyfriend had an enormous brookie!!). Really reasonably priced, a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! A popular place so may be best to book. Parking on site too.

Stopped here for a drink and decided to have lunch here. We were very glad that we did the food was lovely and the varied menu had a number things to tempt you, but we decided to go with the Sausages with mash and mushy peas/gravy. Best sausages I’ve had in some while. Recommend this place strongly.

Small little tea rooms on the outskirts of Burscough with a very yummy afternoon tea. There is plenty to eat on the picnic table that the tea is served on. A good variety of sweet and savoury dishes, to be honest my friend and I preferred the savoury side of the tea which is unusual for us. The mini fish and chips was delicious and we will be back to try the full sized version.

They also serve a morning tea if you fancy something a little different and my partner and I are thinking of trying that...

We came across Brandreth Barn tea rooms by chance. What a find!!!. A warm cosy atmosphere and friendly staff providing excellent service. The menu is extensive and not expensive for a smallish dining room(approx 40 covers) and the food was immense!!. Fresh, tasty and plentiful...absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a...
