Popped in for a couple of pints just by chance as we like to explore pubs around the county. We were made to feel welcome and a very nice and cosy place it is too. We like to try out different ales and first we had a Shipyard ale at £4.30 and then a Wainwrights ale at only £3.50 which is good at todays prices. The ale was kept well and tasted great, there were a good selection of lagers and ciders too as well as the usual spirits. We will certainly be going back...

Took my dog on a walk and stumbled across this pub, very glad I did as it seemed very friendly and had a cracking atmosphere. Only downside was someone deciding to feed my pooch pork scratchings, my dog lov d eating them but gave her stomach upset on the taxi ride home 🥲will definitely return next time im out...
