We were waiting to be served by one of the 5 members of staff that seemed to be congregated around the centre section, one member of staff walked passed and said if you walk down to them they will serve you, so we needed to walk to the fried section to ask for service, then walk back to the section where the food we wanted was (jacket potatoes) we were also told that there was a menu on the counter (but it didn’t have jacket potatoes on the sign). We were given butter in a sachet, I asked if the butter could have been put on the potatoes first so it could melt, rather than on the dry unmelted cheese, but was told that they can’t because of health and safety (what, but you can handle all my food & salad, but can’t put the butter on?) I then said the potatoes looked dry & not very hot so the cheese wouldn’t melt, & we were told “There’s a microwave over there” So I then needed to ask for a spare plate & remove the salad from the plates to microwave the potatoes. What a palaver. The jacket potato rating was 3/10 POOR. Train your staff better in customer service.

On our visit to this lovely wildlife park we popped into the restaurant for some lunch, there was a really good selection of food from sandwiches to cakes plus hot meals like jacket potato’s chicken and chips ect.The only thing was it was quite expensive but then I suppose it takes a lot of money to run a place as big as this,i would like to think some of the money goes towards the up keep of the lovey animals, which makes this a lovely place to look around. All of the animals looked in really good condition and a lot of them are on the endangered list. The White Rhinos have had a lovely baby even though he’s quite big now, they all seemed to be enjoying there self's wallowing in there mud bath. It’s a great day out for all the family. With plenty to see and do and easy access so that everyone can enjoy all this lovely park has to offer...👍

Not great quality food. Homemade sausage rolls were rock hard - would've preferred a Greggs. Orange juice was watered down. Chips weren't the best. We'll bring our own lunch next time

The reviews and rating on here don’t do this justice in my opinion. It’s a canteen style cafe set up to handle large volumes of people and has freshly made meals like lasagne, macaroni cheese, chicken goujons, sausages, bartered fish, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, salad, etc. Yes you’ll queue if you go for lunch between 12-12:30, but for what it is it’s good food and...
