The White Hart — Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

Went to a wedding reception at The White Hart Saturday 29 June 2024, (yesterday) The owners so know how to run a wedding/ function. They worked so hard to have everything run beyond smoothly, not one issue, everything ran beautifully well, from my perspective. The staff and owners all looked so chilled doing their work, if they was stressed, it didn't show at all, true hearty professionals, from us arriving to leaving. And the food, the FOOD WAS BLOOMING DELICIOUS! How they managed to run such a great wedding and have the food and bar all at 100% brilliant I've no idea. I've been to many many functions, and many weddings, I've never been to one that ran so well so brilliantly well, if you're thinking of having a wedding reception or function and would like it to have that something extra, I can not recommend this place enough! The staff was so happy, so professional so brilliantly perfect they definitely added a great atmosphere to the day that I've not experienced anywhere else, and it's a beautiful location, all guests that stayed over found beautiful accommodation near by. I am truly wowed by all their efforts yesterday at the wedding. I must say, the bride and groom did plan such a great wedding and the staff delivered above and beyond what looked effortless. Hurrah to all, and congratulations to bride and groom. To add, the disco was 100% brilliant too, he was outstanding and again added to the atmosphere so brilliantly! Three cheers to all who made it so brilliant and to the new Mr & Mrs you most certainly done yourselves...

I recently visited The White Hart in Minster Lovell, and I was truly impressed by the entire experience. The pub itself has a cozy, traditional charm, blending a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a lovely countryside setting. However, the real highlight was the food.

The menu offers a great range of dishes, each with a comforting yet refined touch. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. From the tender, succulent meat dishes to the perfectly cooked vegetables and deliciously fresh fish, each bite felt like a treat. The portions were generous, and every dish had a homemade feel, using quality ingredients.

On top of that, the service was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt well looked after throughout our meal. Brilliant customer service. Came in today asking if they were still serving food. Sadly they were not. However unlike the first pub who turned us away very rudely this establishment apologised. Then when i asked if she knew somewhere that would be open for even a sandwich (we are not local and had just been to Crocodiles of the world with my husband, 4 year old and her disabled grandpa) she then suggested the old swan. Even better she phoned them, checked they would serve us and booked us a table! Outstanding! Then gave us some directions and wished us a nice lunch. Just brilliant!! It was the young lady with dark hair and glasses. You are a superstar! We will be back next time we visit the crocodiles as your food looks lovely! We will just come at lunchtime...
