Greggs — Restaurant in West Suffolk

I went at a very busy time. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately I was looking forward to a nice hot sausage roll and they had just run out! Never mind instead I chose a tuna sandwich which was very fresh and very tasty. I also chose some gingerbread men as they were sitting in their packaging and were crying out for me to pick them as they were all alone!. They too were delicious. Not too hard to bite into and just melted in the mouth. My friend had a roll and slice of pizza and cheese bake. He says v they were very tasty. The cover was lovely and hot which i had 1yr my meal. There was seating but there was a coach party so we ended up eating ours in the car, but too bad.(I bet that was where my sausage roll went! 🤣🥪🍕🫔🍣☕️) thank you Greg's for a lovely meal and good visit. Greggs doughnut was fine. We intended to eat in, but the entire site is absolutely filthy. Bins over flowing with waste, tables absolutely filthy. No one seemed to be responsible for site cleanliness. The toilet floor was coated with urine and toilet seats were so disgusting you couldn't sit on them- I cant imagine when they were last cleaned, as we visited at 13:00 and they were already vile with clearly more than a days worth of urine and filth. We took our food outside to eat, but the grass and car park was utterly covered in litter, some of which had clearly been there for a long time. There are no outside bins for waste. We ate in the car. Both Greggs and Burger King should be ashamed of the state of this site. Never seen a service station like it, and I hope I never do again. This is by far the worst experience I have ever written. I have had my fair share of extremely poor, rude, filthy and unwelcoming service, but this greggs Is by far the winner of bad customer service. I was looking around the hot food section and I found that all the food was very greesy. This is ridiculous.
