Located on an industrial estate, this bakery, staffed by warm and lovely people, serves up a range of bread and snack food such as Cornish pasties, bakewell tarts, and espresso coffee. The bread is ostensibly French with flour sourced from Moule-bie, a Parisian miller. The result is a mixed bag. The French-ness is a bit lost on me, I would describe the bread style overall as traditional English white. Much better than the bread are the pasties which are really outstanding, especially when hot. The sausage rolls are also very, very good, juicy and generous on the sausage. Unfortunately, the croissant are not good at all and do not really look like croissant. This bakery/cafe is a lovely prelude (or post hoc cuppa) to a walk in Nowton Park with ample parking and a big bowl of water for the doggies....

The sausage roll was especially good, probably the best I've ever eaten. If I had one criticism, I think the croissant was a little dry, but still good.
