The overall atmosphere of the cafe is that of a nursery hit by a bomb, children wandering around everywhere and screaming and screeching, from customers and staff alike. As soon as my family arrived, we waited for twenty minutes for the incompetent hostess to stop taking dirty pizza trays one at a time back to the kitchen before she seated us at a dirty table. All the tables are sticky, still scattered with crumbs and not cleaned properly, along with the face that we had to get our own cutlery, menus and napkins from the front as the waitress didn't bring any. Read moreThis is a lovely little restaurant/cafe on the route around Whipsnade. We all had pizzas which were reasonably priced and very filling, and came very quickly.
There are baby chairs available and it is a pleasant setting overlooking the rolling hills-- you would hope the was was nice for somewhere called the viewpoint, and it is!
No complaints really-- just nothing exceptionally good, and the tables were a little bit sticky.
Definitely a nice spot on site if you want something more than a sandwich...
