first of all i never got a chance to sample the food. below will tell you why.
if you are after a indian restaurant and want to be served before the end of the century then please do not go here. my wife and i went here on a tuesday evening and the place had hardly anyone there and when we arrived we were asked if we would like some drinks and we said we would rather go straight to our table and have our drinks there (we had been at meetings all day and evening) it was 8.25pm.
we did not get a table we were asked to sit in the waiting area and we were there for 20 minutes. in which time we were asked a further 2 times if we wanted drinks in which we replied on both occasions that we only wanted drinks when we have been given a table. after another 5 minutes we decided to get up and leave as i believe waiting 25 minutes for a table when a restaurant is not even a quarter full is disgraceful.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. if this is what they are like on a very very quiet evening then how the hell they cope on a busy weekend i will never know. this is the first and last time i will ever try here and we like to eat out a good 3 times a week at indian...

I was staying close by due to the Liverpool parade and we checked in late at the hotel and was incredibly hungry. This place was closing soon but they kept it open for us and accommodated us in every way.
Top top service from the owners and really nice guys to chat to and get to know.
Thereās a huge car park and lots of seating inside. The decor was top and the place looked really clean.
Now the food was amazing! The presentation was top too! For a last minute meal the chef definitely smashed it.
We ordered 7 king prawn puris which were really tasty and the presentation was something Iāve never seen! The little sauces that were in the plate were nice with the prawn too!
We also ordered 5 curries with 3 naans, 3 biryanis and couple of rices. All the food went down a treat!
All with a great price too.
If Iām ever in the area again, definitely will be visiting again!
Thank you guys a lot for the experience and special thank you to the chef.

Read moreFood was ok, only two starters to choose from and poppadoms are not included in the price on a Sunday. Currys were nice, not much meat but for a Sunday banquet can't really moan for the price. Heavily disappointed with paying £3 a pint for lukewarm flat coke from a bottle.
Asked for the bill and was charged over £1 per popadom and then another £1.30 for a chutney tray. Absolute rip off when you never pay more than 0.60p per popadom everywhere else. It's ridiculous quite frankly.
Recommendations - paying £3 a coke could at very least be glass bottle coke... And some ice if you've no room in the fridge would be a good idea. Review the price of your popadoms, a few other people said the same thing in the carpark, and for that reason id much rather go to the rivaj for a less cramped meal, more choice, better drinks and...
