Whenever we visit Wild Mint Cafe we are always delighted. The food is prepared and served beautifully and efficiently, not to mention it’s delicious and fresh. We LOVE the baguette of the day - it never disappoints. The cake selection is to die for and the coffee hits the spot.
The staff are friendly and accommodating- nothing is ever too much trouble and they do all they can to assist with any requests we might have. From allergies to accessibility we are always welcomed and dealt with professionally.
A massive shout out to Keri who has assisted us on a number of occasions with booking requests and special meals. It’s such a comfort when a member of our family has dementia. We are never rushed and each member of staff is mindful of our situation. Your care and kindness is appreciated and we can’t thank you enough.
Super setting, lovely atmosphere, delicious eats and first class service. I totally...
Read moreFor a special birthday treat. £36, I expected better and left a little disappointed Pre booked. We were asked about drinks on arrival to the counter before sitting. My pregnant daughter asked for bottle water. After sitting. 5 minutes later, the waitress brought over a glass of tap water, a tea pot and cup then away she went without a word. A bit later the food was put on our table and off she went, same again. The food, was a one finger sandwich, half a wrap, a sausage roll and a soggy quiche. Cakes were small as normal on an afternoon tea with a currant scone, (not warm) ready filled with whipped cream and jam. It was ok, similar to some others I've had but nothing felt nice, it wasnt special. The atmosphere was a packed cafe with a rushed off their feet young waitress. We weren't once asked if we needed anything else or approached again. We just ate and left and we could have done that with soup...
Read moreStaff on counter really pleasant and serving as fast as possible while busy. Food average very basic. What did get my attention was the member of staff from the kitchen who came out to tell a table of customers extremely loudly that they had accepted the wrong order even though it was what they had ordered. Apparently they should of waited until their whole order was brought to table to know it was their order or not. Not sure I've ever had to do this myself anywhere. If staff can't take the order to correct table I don't think staff should blame the customer in the middle of the restaurant for everyone to hear. Still shouting as she stomped back to kitchen. Not something I would of sat quietly about like the unfortunate customers did. Very disappointing for the rest of the hard...
