I have been visiting WCR for a couple of years now and can easily say its the best coffee house and provider in the area. I always stop by when in Winchester for their drinks and get my freshly ground coffee from there, the Flat White Blend is my go to, its perfect! However today I went a step further and purchased one of their Refurb Sage Duo Temp Pro espresso machines that they advertise on their FB page and so had to leave a review to say how pleased I am not only with the product but the level of service provided by Billy throughout. All questions were answered immediately and with such enthusiasm and when going in to pick the machine up he talked me through everything and provided superb customer service. It goes without saying that I had to purchase a bag of fresh Flat White blend coffee for the machine whilst there too! This place truly is a gem tucked away in an industrial park! We came across this by accident browsing Google maps, and it’s clearly loved by locals as it had a fairly constant flow of people.

We had some pour over coffee, and a couple of sweets that which were both delicious. The coffee wasn’t quite to our taste this time so I think I would have appreciated a bit more forwardness in the staff on the kinds of coffee beans they offer at the counter when we ordered, but they gave good advice when we asked about it upon leaving so I’d be happy to come back and try something else.

The decor was very eclectic and cozy, though the sound of grinding coffee beans echoes in the warehouse style space - not necessarily a good place for reading or working but definitely a nice trip out.

I’ve worked as a barista for over 7 years & I’d argue these guys are hands down, the most underrated coffee shop in Hampshire! The staff are lovely & certainly know their stuff. You will not find nicer coffee elsewhere (especially not at such fantastic value!!) & their sweet treats are also delicious! If you have a coffee machine at home, I highly recommend their Synergy beans - SO good! You wouldn’t find this place unless you’re looking for it, it’s small & cosy with a unique aesthetic. It can get a bit noisy in the week when the roasting operation is in full swing but this just adds to the character! I just wish they had longer opening hours!
