Snack Bar — Restaurant in Wirral

The Green Hut Cafe and snack bar. Recently taken over, the new owner has worked wonders, not only with the food and service but also with the surrounding area. The staff and owner are welcoming, the service fast and the food amazing. They have also worked hard to clean up the entire area. Amongst other things clearing the pathways and steps, tidying up all the rubbish behind and around the hut as well as creating a beautiful rest area. Their is an ever growing group of regular dog walkers who stop there along with people visiting the beach. The large field opposite gives plenty of space for kids to kids and also plays home to some of the local paragliders. Whilst the hut itself doesn't have toilets their is a very clean and well maintained set of public council run toilets on the corner by the entrance to the car park.

This little cafe really does have everything! Situated on the car park at the North Wirral Coastal Park it provides extremely good food and drink ( fish and chips, all day breakfast, soup etc) at a reasonable price. There are plenty of places to sit outside in a charming little garden area, or you can take away. Dog water and treats are provided. I have to admire the staff they work in -2c weather conditions and have sorted out a great system to bleep people when their food is ready. My mate and I had bikes and it was -2 so we sat in the banned benches as it was deserved. The women was lovely and let us sit there as we didn't have cars to eat them in. 5*...
