Subway — Restaurant in Wirral

Unfortunately I would have given zero stars for this experience as the total service start to finish was a disgrace. Entering premises at Clatterbridge and ordered a sandwich on the display. Watching the sandwich being made was told they had very little or no salad to add, the sandwich was toasted and the so called manager removed from oven to find one end was burnt charcoal so she removed the end with a knife. She then attempted to place the sandwich into a takeaway container and the bread fell apart but she continued to shove the sandwich into the packaging. We refused the sandwich and requested a refund and the manager replied we couldn’t give refunds and we are remaking the sandwich. The second sandwich was just as bad if not worse as you will see from the photo, it fell apart as she continued to force the so called sandwich which broke apart again into its container and slapped the sandwich on the counter. I would highly recommend you avoid this eatery unless you want very poor service, quality of food below standard and zero atmosphere....

I rarely leave bad reviews but the way the sandwiches were served was shocking. Ordered two subs and the person serving was not even looking at the sandwich when cutting it. Due to this it was impossible to eat it in full as all the ingredients started falling off. One of the sandwiches was supposed to have pickles in it which they didn’t even bother to add. Also, one of the menus included a pack of crisps which they forgot to add and when we went back to claim it they didn’t even apologise. Girl with name lily and shift manager boy was there firstly she didn’t take order from us we was waiting for about 20 mins after that she said use kiosk for order and then we saw after 2 mins she take order for another customer who just came. That’s so rude and that happens with me most of time they burnt the bread sometimes and never serve happy. I remember when it was opened here there was very good staff but now that boy and girl I saw everytime.
