We've been to the Honey Bee off and on for the last 13 years or so, and if not longer always used to have a really good meal. Unfortunately, on the 8th April 2023 this was an occasion where I did not really enjoy the food. The pasta was warm ish at best. The garlic bread had an excessive amount of cheese, which was almost the strength of mature cheese (which I normally like, but seemed excessive this occasion). The chips were, well, present.. a bit dry and no real taste. Even adding condiments could not improve them. My first pint of Coke (yes, actually Coca-Cola and not Pepsi like most places) had a long hair inside. We had 2 pint glasses each, and neither were to the brim or close to the top. It was quite pricy for what it was. I am assuming all is not well at the establishment, as while eating outside, a staff member came running out extremely upset, being counselled by colleagues about an event with management and referencing multiple people leaving. (This did not tarnish our thoughts of our visit, just an observation) Happened to meet a friend while leaving who was also visiting the pub. He later, after his meal, also advised me of the same issue with the garlic bread and issues with food. I'd like to try visiting again to rule it out. Bit dissatisfied with how pricey eating out now is at restaurants, especially when you did not enjoy it, which is subjective I know, sometimes you get lucky or don't. I think I'll leave this one for some time. May consider it again should I hear positive reviews. I will say, I do not like giving negative reviews, as understand from previously working in a Marstons just how busy it can be and other demands on the job- but this is simply how we found it on this occasion.

Management attitude stinks - When questioned about previous offers regarding the inclusive wine customers could show membership on a phone or fill in a form at the bar to receive the wine - now this isn't accepted. We were told to go home and print off the offer if we wanted the wine. Offers unclear and changed without telling the members of their website and existing customers. The manager said it was the owners idea due to the cost of the wine. The restraunt was generally unclean with dirty seating and sticky menues . Have been many times in the past as it used to be a great place to eat with a friendly family atmosphere . Food quality has really gone downhill as well (chips served cold in a dirty bowl, steak undercooked and fish oily) . What a shame - used to love this place.

The best pub / restaurant in Worcester. The staff are wonderful, very attentive, polite and caring. Always putting customers needs first and even going the extra mile to give the best experience. The service is quick, rarely ever a long wait and usually very quiet so a very peaceful visit. Cheap food and drinks. Definitely reccomend! My favourite dish here is mostly the gammon with eggs. It's just always cooked to perfection. Plenty of seating available. You can book in advance, but most of the time I just walk in and sit down. You can book party rooms to which is great! Easily accessible toilets. Plenty of outdoor seating and a children's play area. Also nice views around it such as the little lake at the bottom to take a nice walk afterwards. Great value for money

Myself 2 friends and my son visited tonight and were completely disappointed. The food and service at the restaurant used to be amazing however since lock down it has gone massively down hill. While it is the first night of eat out to help out and we expected it to be busy we didn't expect it to be this poor. First of all we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated, we were advised of the 45 minute to 1 hr wait which was fine. We sat outside as the weather was nice. We ordered our food from the bar after a 10 minute wait to be served by the one friendly bar maid and we're again advised of the 45 minute wait for food. An hour later and we were advised that they had run out of chips. 90% of meals come with chips here so how they manage to run out of chips who knows? 30 minutes 3 out of the 4 meals arrived. All the food was cold and not cooked very well, how can someone not fry a sausage properly? My meal was missing the onion rings and egg. The other was missing sausages and beans which we had paid extra for. While we were eating we saw some of the staff unloading bag after bag of aldi chips. Wow. 25 minutes later and the missing food had not arrived however the 4th dish finally came out (all deep fried so how it took 25 mins i dont know), lo and behold with some chips. I can safely say that those chips are not designed to be deep fried, they were browned to hell and back and still cool in the middle. After eating the food which ae only ate as we were starving and it was now nearly 9 oclock I asked to speak to the manager, 20 minutes later no one had arrived, the waitess said they were very busy (presumably dealing with multiple other complaints) I went in to find them. I asked politely to be refunded for the meals, the manager was very rude and dismissive. I explained what had happened and he was very impolite and clearly didnt want to refund us. He only refunded the two meals and point blank refused to refund the 3rd meal that came out after we had finished the first two. In hospitality service is key, he clearly doesn't understand this and will loose a lot of customers if he carries on like this. We heard/saw at least 3 other tables complaining, and heard of one table waiting 3 hours for food. Keep up this level of service and there wont be any customers to serve. There is no chance I will be going be back any time soon. I feel sorry for the staff if the manager feels it appropriate to speak to customers like this I dread to think how he treats them. May be the reason ive never seen the same staff twice.Avoid this place...

Where do I begin? Do NOT go to here . I am shocked at the food we were served tonight.

The pictures on the website shows this lovely modern pub that looks like a lovely place to eat however they didn't take any pictures of the dinning area and I can see why. Old dirty furniture, most of the tables were dirty, they had either not been wiped (like ours hadn't) or they had glasses or plates on. When we got there a family had finished their meal and left... 2 hours later their left over food and plates where still there with loads of flys buzzing around it. That is something you do not want to see while eating a meal.

The service was terrible, at the bar I tried to make small talk with the man he didn't respond to this, he didn't even smiles cel the whole time we were there. He didn't even seem to care about customer service. My friend didn't hear him asking her if she would like ice and lemon in her drink he looked at me rolled his eyes, pulled a face and asked me if she would like them.

The food was terrible, not only did we have to wait an hour for our food but my friend (whom had ordered the chicken fajitas) was given her wraps and dips to have to wait a further 10 minutes for the rest of her dish to come, then I had to wait a further 5 minutes for mine to come. Taking it 15 minutes for all of our food to come out which by that time some of it was cold. As if that wasn't bad enough my friends had lettuce that was completely brown and all stuck together, her cheese was clearly old as well. I had the bbq ribs that is smothered in bqq sauce and slow cooked to maximise the flavour... There was no bbq sauce they were dry, they were also over cooked, tough, had no flavour and had hardly any meat on them which is shocking because the portion was absolutely huge. We also ordered the nachos and chilli dish, if I had know I was paying £6.99 for some cheap Tesco crisps with cheese on top I would not have bothered. How can you justify charging that much money for a dish that would cost £2 to make. There was a spoonful of chilli, I'm not even joking it was ridiculous, it didn't even taste nice. I cannot say one good thing about the meal we had there. I wanted to express how the meal was to the staff, however that is hard to do so when there was no staff in the restaurant or bar for 20 minutes, I was already annoyed and by this time I was fed up and wanted to get out of that place and never return.

It is a real shame because the place has some...

Extremely disappointed and left hungry. I am a frequent customer and usually love the Honeybee but my latest experience means it will be a LONG time before I visit again. I sent my dinner back because my chicken was undercooked, pink raw across one whole section of the butterfly and cold to the touch. I had cut through several points to make sure! No apology was given by the member of staff who took away the plate but a new one was promised. I then waited a further 30 minutes, by which point my partner had finished her meal (chicken, which looked dubious, also undercooked, but not under enough to send back) and still no replacement meal had been sent. When I went in to complain, staff were not expecting another to have been sent out to me (I guess they expected me to just accept raw food or go hungry). I was issued a refund no problem but then was told that the chicken I had sent back was not undercooked but I had “CUT THROUGH A VEIN”. Already outraged at this point, I was furious because it highlights that there was no oversight, there was no intention of sending out a replacement meal, but also to argue with a customer is unacceptable, especially when it was COMPLETELY RAW. I also didn’t appreciate the complete lack of an apology or the ‘never mind’ attitude I was spoken to with. I wish I had taken a picture of the chicken before I sent it back as I would send it directly to management for them to see the incompetence of their kitchen staff - to say that the chicken was fully cooked is nothing more then gross negligence.

Since the meal, my partner, who’s chicken I mentioned was dubious, has had an upset stomach. I hope for her and the Honeybee’s sake that she hasn’t contracted food poisoning or a form of salmonella…..

Safe to say that, what was supposed to be a lovely evening at a lovely pub, was completely ruined by this experience and we will not be visiting again. Completely inadequate service and a lack of respect. A complimentary drink, which I turned down, will not make up for a...
