Definitely recommend this beautiful village pub for its wonderful food, fantastic welcoming atmosphere and its lovely decor which is such an amazing transformation to the tiny pub it was years ago. The village itself is also a joy sitting at the foot of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds with castle ruins, charming cottages, babbling stream and stunning views - all making for a great place to walk. We had a family meal for my elderly Mum’s birthday and the staff made a great fuss of her which was very much appreciated. Service was excellent and we didn’t wait long for our food even though it was very busy. Best of all, this pub is community led and a real credit to the village who saved it from closure. Thank you everyone 🙏🏻

A very homely pub and really cosy and welcoming, really friendly and helpful staf that gave you a really good service, with no problems that they couldn't help you with, food was of a high standard for a pub, I had fish a chips,my wife had the burger which looked too good to eat, there was not a scrap left on our plates, and happy and full faces all round. We had all had local ales that went down nice after a good feed. There was a lovely peaceful atmosphere that was really relaxing. Toilets for all including for wheelchair users, outdoor seating, they also catered for weddings, a gorgeous setting for a really historic public house, I could visit there again and again and again, well worth a meal and a pint......

Had a fantastic Sunday roast here. Food and service was excellent. The roast beef was delicious and the desserts were amongst the best we've had (lemon parfait and apple and ginger cake). The children's menu catered for our fussy 12 year old who really enjoyed the meaty lasagne. I had added a note when making the reservation that we were coming for a celebratory birthday meal and the team gave us a lovely table by the fireplace and had decorated it - much appreciated, really made us feel valued customers!

My friend and I had a good walk on Bredon Hill and descended down to Elmley for lunch where we found the excellent Queen Elizabeth Inn. The staff were welcoming and friendly and allowed us to bring our dog into the lower bar. There was a jar full of doggy treats and the young lady behind the bar said I could take one for the dog. So I treated Isla with a very generous Bonio biscuit.

There was a good selection of ales and we both had Wye Valley bitter which was a tasty and refreshing pint. We then ordered food which was delivered quickly to our table. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. There was a good selection of lunch meals on the menu, all reasonably priced.

The pub has a separate dining room for more haute cuisine dining. There is also a tea room attached to the pub which is run as a separate business.

The inside of the pub was warm and traditional. It would be a great place to spend a few hours with friends supping fine ales and sharing stories. I must return to try a pint of the interestingly named guest beer,...

I don't usually post reviews but I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a pub before. Me and my boyfriend arrived for the pub quiz and the service was terrible. We got told to wait as they hadn't set up our table despite having booked in advance which made us feel like we inconvenienced them but arriving 10 minutes early. When we finally sat down, we noticed all the other tables had reserved notes on them but ours didn't and it felt like we didn't exist. We got told 'you know where the bar is don't you?' Then another couple came in and the staff asked them what they would like to drink but yet they made us go to the bar. We ended up having one drink then left because we felt so awkward and out of place there. I'd say avoid this place if you don't live in the village as clearly no-one is welcome unless you live there. We were looking forward to doing the quiz but we left feeling sad, angry and disappointed. We definitely won't be visiting...

Last minute office Christmas Lunch for twelve. Organised only the previous day. The staff sorted out a great table for us so we were all able to sit together around one big, square table, which worked really well. Warm, comfortable and welcoming, the food went down very well indeed (empty plates all round, every course), as did the drinks. Had the local Deer Park white wine for the first time, and liked it. Had the Argentinian Malbec for the umpteenth time, and it was as good as ever, perhaps even more so having been opened earlier for us and allowed to breathe. At £22 a bottle, I think it's better than many other restaurant wines at double the price. Staff brilliant. We were booked elsewhere but had to switch because of a fire. Having done so (even our vegans were happy!), I fully expect everyone to say that they want to return to the Queens for...
