Jalisco Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Abbeville

Greeter was fine, was immediately seated. Waited for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged, had to ask for drinks. Person who gave us drinks wasn't even our waiter. He finally came, didnt even introduce himself, and told my wife she couldn't order a specific item because "it was a lunch time item only" and showed what she could order and it was the same exact thing she was looking at. So another 20-30 mins later, our food finally came out, but as we waited, I literally saw 3-4 workers sitting in the corner playing on the phone, and not walking around to ask customers if they needed anything. In fact, the whole crew I saw was either playing on the phone, or doing something else. Food was great, service lacked and failed. What gets me, is everytime we come here, we always have great service and food. This wasn't one of those times. We will come back again another time, but this...

Do not go, so if your reading this, then that means your like me & you like to eat food in acadiana so we ordered our food & the guy kept wanting to serve margaritas & we realized that it’s more of bar atmosphere than restaurant, so after 35 minutes, these chips & salsa ain’t that great but it’s all we got to eat y’all, so we are like where’s our food bro & he scurried off in broken English, after 45 minutes, we said we had enough, we just paying for the drinks & thats with or without your broken English, so we left y’all, it was the best decision we made. And if you’re reading this, then guess what y’all, we still waiting on our food to come out, so put this as your last restaurant of choice I’m for real, that’s if it’s stays in business...

Went here for the first time and the outside of the building doesn't do the inside any justice. The parking lot is a bit strange though. Honestly, I was waiting for it to be another run down resturant but the inside was beautiful with lots of color and very clean. The food portions are huge! The food was good and the service was very nice. We were approached by three different employees. One complaint is that the employees were sitting around playing on their phones and being it was our first time we were finished with our food, waiting on our ticket while 3 employees were on their phone, until a 4th employee approached us with our bill.
