Subway — Restaurant in Abbeville

I went to the Subway in Abbeville, AL for lunch today after driving nearly 4 hours I was hoping for a bathroom break in addition to a lunch stop. Upon opening the door I noticed that they have their public bathrooms closed. I thought wonderful and my experience started going downhill from there. I then was greeted nicely and they asked me what I wanted. I asked for a Chicken Rotisserie which they said we don't sell anymore, then I asked for a Subway club, then they said we don't have roast beef anymore, then I said well, I'd like a Subway Melt and they said we don't sell that anymore. I asked you have turkey, ham, and bacon don't you and they said yes, and I said well then I want a Melt. Then they said it would cost more, and I said ok, no problem. Well she never asked what size sandwich I wanted only what kind of bread and I took my eyes off of the lady for a few seconds to see what they actually did sell at Subway (which was very few options). Then I see her making a foot long, when I really wanted a 6" sub. Next issue was when it was time to put on the sauces. I asked for one line and just a little bit of mayo because I take warfarin and too much mayo throws my blood levels off, well that one line turned into three in about a second. I was upset at this point and they were going to rake it off of my sandwich, but at that point I just wanted to get out there and never return. Also, come to find out at check out they are only doing bottled drinks and no fountain drinks. No big deal, but some prefer the larger fountain drinks for the same money. My husband ordered a meatball 6 inch on Italian herb and cheese bread . The meatballs were cold he took one bight and brought it to the two ladies attention that we're working on Saturday night at around 630pm. They said we can't do anything about it bc the meatballs are warm. One of the lady's stuck her finger in the pot. My husband said can I get another sandwich and one of the ladies said yeah but I want that one back he said you can have it back I don't want it. Than she said just go ahead and throw it away. I was like she better say that bc that is unsanitary if she would have taken the sandwich back. They were both very rude. She made him another sandwich but it had to be the exact same price as his meatball so he got cold cut sandwich. It is very disappointing when employees don't believe that the food they re serving is cold. That is an insult to the paying customer. Prices of food is too expensive for customers to go out and get a cold meatball sandwich and being treated like we are trying to get something for nothing. The one lady was so rude and so mean. The way she said as long as you give that sandwich back was totally uncalled for. 24.00 for our meal and my husband got treated like he was trying to pull a fast one on Subway . This will be our last visit to this Subway .we come to Abbeville every weekend to see my Mom and stop here quite often never again .we will be gladly to give our hard earn money to...

Their 🍞 , always over baked. I have had several issues with this location. But Mr Joy. ( Joy enterprises) they use to know me well. My name , lol was all over. I went into the subway at South side Walmart, the manager was working that day. We started talking, he asked my name. When I told him, I was like VIP. No issues there. He was happy I didn't have any complaints. He told me, " now if there is an issue with your food, let me know & I'll fix the problem . At manger meetings, your name is always brought up .
