Wicky Ralph's Ice Cream & Mini Golf — Restaurant in Acton

This review is solely for the mini golf, in particular the person who runs it. She's not right. My family (of 7) called to find out the latest time that we could arrive. We were told that the mini-golf closed at 10 p.m. so that if we arrived at 9:15 that would be fine. [The website says 10 p.m.] We arrived at 9:10 only to be told by this person that we were too late and that she had answered the phones all day and never told us 9:15. She immediately accused us of fabricating our story in a weirdly confrontational way. It turned into a scene with this woman following us into the parking lot yelling at us in front of the ice cream customers.

We literally planned our night around the advice we received on the phone. The facility looked lovely and we support the dog rescue mission. Too bad.

I see a job posting for an assistant manager that says "Must love ice cream, mini golf, and dogs." Maybe liking people would be a benefit too....

Swung in for the first time 9/4/22 with my service dog. Arrived around 750pm. Stopped at the restroom first and then waited at the mini golf window for a minute or 2. Was informed that they closed (mini golf & ice cream) at 745pm and not the time listed as 8pm. Yet people were still being helped at the ice cream window. I spoke to the women putting clubs away. "She informed me the course closed at 745pm" "if she let us play she would be there till 930pm" "she's already been there 12hrs". I am a person who sees the question "what's your favorite food?" And answers "Ice cream!" In general this place is great. Lots of fun flavors. Equally wonderful was the drive up from NH Dover area. You cannot loose taking this nice drive and having ice cream waiting for you. And to walk it off, you can enjoy a fun and well thought out miniature golf course. Why am I missing one star for 5!? I am very particular about my malted shakes. I really need to taste that malt. While I fully enjoyed the shake. It was on the vanilla side of flavor.
