I heard about this establishment from a friend in the area and decided to give it a try. To my surprise I saw a run down bar with flies roaming about near the bar and beer taps. I also noticed that the bar isn't really ADA accommodating as the bathroom (men's) is very small. The main door is wide open and the kitchen was easily accessible to anyone. I saw mice running around the kitchen area and noticed that the bartender who was also the cook was not wearing a hairnet let alone gloves when preparing patrons food. Yuck! The regulars there are not the friendliest of people. I noticed a lot of LGBT rainbows and posters suggesting this place was a safe place but to my surprise i was made aware real quick that those posters and rainbows are just there for looks. The patrons that were there that night were not LGBT friendly and nor was the bartender. The insensitive comments that were mumbled and how they laughed with one another as they poked fun at an individual who is represented by an LGBT community was just unacceptable and hurtful.
