Very interested in trying this place and was hoping for a different basic pizza and wing spot that was still better than any place in Corvallis. I was given a variety unexpected with such flavor and quality that was better than expected. I was with a group of three, each got six wings of a flavor and a small pizza (12inch). If we were to do this again we should have got mini’s (7inch) not that it was bad at all. We just had a lot of pizza left over. The leftover pizza is still good so that was a plus it was just a lot of food. We got a Chicken Tikka Pizza, Chicken 65 Pizza and a classic Pepperoni. The wings were Tandoori Buffalo, Mango Tamarind Wings and Honey Chili Wings. Everything was great. The buffalo was a twist of the classic, the mango was very sweet but tasted a bit of a Smokey cherry more than mango and the honey chili was my favorite. The Classic Pep was a pallet cleanser to get the flavor explosion from the Chicken Tikka pizza, the cilantro hit so well and was very nice twist with the pizza. The chicken 65 was Smokey, sweet and the red peppers and cilantro made the spiciness a flavorful mix of fun flavors. There was a line of 7 people in front of us but the orders were taken quick and the pizzas were out in about 10 min along with the wings.. well worth it and going back to try...
Read moreI went in tonight with my family, who generally don't like Indian food but agreed to give it a try. So glad we did, the menu is fantastic and unique with a good blend of traditional and Indian flavors. We got the masala fries and some wings to start (mandarin bbq and masala tandoori) and they were all great. The fries and bbq wings were not spicy and the kids loved them. The tandoori had a bit of a bite but still not too hot. For pizza we got the pepperoni (pretty traditional but very good) and my personal favorite, the butter chicken, which was delicious. They have a few taps, all well priced. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely...
Read moreWe tried Spices and Slices after a hike at the arboretum and it was perfect! It's nice that they don't close midday so we weren't worried about missing the lunch hours. I like the mix of Indian, fusion, and traditional American dishes. My partner got the garlic noodles and I got a mini chicken tikka pizza and we split the gobi Manchurian. Even with big post-hike appetites we took quite a bit of food home, easily enough for a second meal. The noodles were super garlicky and well seasoned. They could have been a little bit saucier. The pizza was really good and I'm excited to try more of the options. This is a great addition to the north side...
