Tried it for the first time today, my girlfriends parents come here all the time & say its great & have heard from some others to give it a try. The Pizza is good & so are the prices for what you get. The dining room was nice and clean, they also have a lot of choices for ice cream. The owners are amazing and nice, I stood around and talked to them for a while about pizza, restaurants and I how I like to travel around try new places & do reviews. Owner let me try one of his peppers & taste his bottle of GABOOM which is a 2 million scoville hot sauce which was delicious which I would have loved on some chicken wings if they had some. We also had bacon cheese fries which come with melted cheese instead of liquid nacho or cheddar. They use the same amount of dough for each size of pizza so if you get a medium it will be a little thicker than the extra large but if you let them know that you would like a thinner medium they can do so! They do something most pizza places don't do which is let you pick and try 4 different specialty pizzas in one XL pizza! 🍕 They also have a Carolina reaper 🌶️ infused pizza that is supposed to be spicy might have to give that a try sometime but I'm looking forward to trying some of them specialty pizzas soon.

We stopped here (spur of the moment) on our way home from Johnstown, and it was a very pleasant experience. The people there were very friendly and welcoming. They have daily pizza specials- even on the weekend. Their menu isn't exuberant, which is a good thing. They do pizza and do it well. They do have sandwiches, but we will have to try them next time. I must say a good sub is hard to find since I've moved here from Eastern PA. Subs are supposed to be big... that's what I grew up on anyway. But, I digress. Let's not wander off on a rabbit trail. The pizza here is fantastic. We got extra cheese, and it was EXTRA cheese. Next time, we will try just cheese. The crust is crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle just as it should be. The bottom was not soggy like some places. We will be back. Save us a seat.

What a great hidden gem. The owners are fantastic and the pizza is even better. Had a chance to try the Chicken Baken Ranch, Meatsa, and Pepperoni pizza and enjoyed all three. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was cheesey and delicious and the meatsa and pepperoni had a classic NY style pizza flavors. Honestly the crust was my favorite part. In all I recommend a trip out, you won't be disappointed.

We first noticed an ad for Darlisa Pizza on Tico's Coupons. Since we go right by Saint Michael on our way back from Altoona Curve games, we decided to stop for our first visit today. You might see the 4.9 rating and think "How can a pizza place in a tiny Somerset County town be that good?" Well, I've had lots of pizza in my life. Today, I had the best pizza I've EVER had. Zesty sauce, not sweet. Perfect amount of garlic. Crisp crust. High-quality toppings. Served piping hot. Caring owners who seem to pour their hearts into their business. There is a pizza place about 300 yards from where we live. I'll drive 13 miles to get takeout here in the future. If you live in the Johnstown area, make the trip! Added bonus is the fact that their prices are significantly less than their inferior competitors. Darlisa Pizza...
