MOE-Z-INN — Restaurant in Aetna Township

Iam a local and use to go there a lot but after just as a couple days ago my 85 year old grandma and I refuse to ever go in there again after the way we were treated. It was in the afternoon when we went. Hardly anyone in there. For 1 soon as we walked in all we heard was a bunch of swearing and screaming coming from the kitchen. 2 it took the waitress over at least 20 minutes to even get waited on when there was only one other table that had people at it and already had their food. All the employees were doing nothing but standing around talking and laughing and were even told we were ready to order said she be there in a sec and still took off and ignored us when she finally did come I wanted a salad and she said $7.00 for a salad and I was shocked cause their salads are pre made and small and have never been that much before and honestly not worth that kind of money when I can go to Howard city to CJ's and get a fresh made big salad for $4.00 but besides the point I was shocked and asked why so much for a small salad so I was debating on getting it. Then started getting yelled at by some kitchen guy which sounded like the same guy who was screaming in the kitchen and told me and my 85 year old grandma to leave and then wanted to charge for a drink that wasn't even touched cause the guy was telling us to leave. What a joke. Pretty sad when you tell an 85 year old handicapped lady to leave and she says fine we will just do that then as same for me as what I said. They have kicked people out before saying they took a table up to long when they were there eating and giving them service. Just not cool to treat people like this. They need to watch who they hire and get better service in there again. Right now they have some pretty nasty hating lazy kind of people. And I really hate to say this cause I use to really like going there so I hope they can change this but as for us we will refuse to go in there again. If you like fish, Moe z Inn is the place to be for Friday dinner. All you can eat perch, pollock, and shrimp.

You'll need to get there early to avoid a wait. Service is polished and simply outstanding. These ladies are masters and great at what they do.

After being seated our server arrived quickly and took our drink order. Drinks were in hand under 5 minutes. Our server took our order when she came back with the drinks. I was debating between the all you can eat shrimp or pollock and she informed us we could mix and match between the 3 offerings. Ordered all three... shrimp, pollock and perch. Amazingly our food arrived 7 minutes after ordering and fish was all hot, crispy, and fresh. Came with choice of cottage cheese, apple sauce and something else (can't remember). Fries were not the best but we were there for the fish! Huge roll also included. Our server dropped by a couple of times to check on our progress and noticed we polished off the shrimp and offered to get us more. Back in a flash with a plate of golden brown hot battered shrimp and extra cocktail sauce.

Can't compliment this establishment enough on their food, service and staff! Will be back every Friday in lent.

Prices can't be beat also. $10.99 for the fish and $11.99 for the shrimp...ayce!

Very active bar area, not a fancy place, but nicely appointed and clean. Plenty of parking either in street, across the street, or in a side lot.

Worst experience ever. I Don't recommend and my family will definitely not be back. We had four people in our party and ordered fish specials and one chips & cheese. We received our food one meal at a time after 20min we asked a different waitress. We told her our waitress name Shannon. When Shannon returned to our table she told us that our food hasn't came up yet, even though over 8 other people came after us and were served fish before us. Chips & cheese came to the window and sat almost 10min before she bought it to our table. As she brought us our cold food one meal at a time she kept saying that it wasn't her fault it was the cooks. She is the one responsible for communicating with the cook and checking on her tables which she didn't do. It was 100% her fault! Took almost a hour to get four meals after we placed our order.
