Nowhere on Route 66 — Restaurant in Afton

My fiancé and i have eaten here twice now and it has quickly become our favorite place in the area. I have never been one to go crazy for barbacue but this place makes it a religious experience. Never had better in my life and ive traveled world wide and dinned at 5 star restaurants whose food wasnt nearly as flavorfull. Ive had the pulled pork both times with the fried green beans and grilled mixed veggies. All of the meats come out plain without sauce. To be honest they dont need any and can easily stand alone and still have more flavor that most bbq places. But if im being perfectly honest o was sold on the place before i ever even touched my meat. Their premium sides are well worth the little extra you pay. Completely out of this world and fresh. We will certainly be regular customers. Cant wait to return! Also wish i could buy gallons of their sweet tea.... best ive...

The BBQ was very tasty. The smoke flavor/seasoning was delicious! However, my ribs were dry. I got the rib "special" (3 ribs and a side for $10). Again, VERY flavorful, but dry; not fall-off-the-bone as one would expect. Onion rings were good and crunchy (the way I like them), but was only served 5 of them. The service was average. Servers seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else. (?) The other customers that were there seemed to be from the area and familiar with staff and other customers. There were a few flies flying around our food, which was frustrating at times. When we sat down, we could tell the table wasn't wiped off after the previous customer(s). This restaurant came recommended to us. We drove from Tulsa and wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as it was...

The cutest little diner on the side of I44 with the sweetest employees and absolutely delicious food!! I called ahead and they let me know that there was a booth with an electrical outlet that I could use to charge my laptop while I took a quick work call from the road. I arrived later than intended & in a bit of a panic, but they graciously guided me to the booth and even provided me with the Wi-Fi password when my hotspot wasn’t working properly. So thankful to have found Nowhere as we were passing through :) We ordered food to-go on our way out and absolutely devoured the pulled pork, potato salad and sweet potato fries.
