What is to NOT LOVE about this adorable, side of the main strip, quiet, friendly, hole in the wall restaurant?! My husband, daughter & I needed a place to eat on our 13+ hr drive back home & Tina's popped up. It actually was our 2nd choice & I'm SO glad we decided on Tina's instead! Husband had the Lumberjack, daughter had the cheeseburger/fries, I had the Ultimate BLT. Everything was cooked to PERFECTION! I don't think I can remember the last time we CLEARED our plates & felt SATISFIED with what we ate. When you walk in, you're automatically greeted by warmth, smiles, & down home comfort. There are tin plaque sayings on the walls that just make the entire place even more like home. It feels like walking into an old mom & pop country kitchen. Definitely a welcome feeling when you're on the road for so long. I would 100% recommend Tina's!!! There is a reason the locals have kept the place going for 6 years! I'd love to see them go for another 6...

Stopped here for breakfast with my family on our way to the Sand Dunes and the food was great! Waffle was crispy and buttery, pancake was fluffy and perfectly cooked and the breakfast burrito was delicious! Staff was friendly, kind and attentive and we felt taken care of. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because the coffee was pretty terrible. As a breakfast joint, coffee is a pretty quintessential piece to building the perfect breakfast puzzle. This is 100% our opinion but perhaps investing in an espresso machine might be a good idea, cleaning out the coffee grinder (if they grind their own beans) or buying new coffee from a different roaster might be something they should look into for the future because the coffee was pretty terrible. However, if you’re not a huge coffee lover (like we are) this breakfast diner is a fantastic place to get some delicious breakfast food in a fun and quirky...

What a great lunch!

We found this little gem by luck as we were passing through town on the way to Durango in mid-July.

We hit them right around lunchtime (12:30 - ish), but they had an indoor table available right away for our group of 6.

This is a true family affair - mom and dad are running the kitchen with some help, and the kids and their friends are manning the tables.

We ordered a variety of things....2 kids' meals, reuben, patty melt, salads, and a roast beef sandwich. Good food, fresh and pretty quick. Think diner-style atmosphere and style.

Realistically, it'll probably be a long time if we're ever back in the area to go again, but we would. If you're like us, and want a place to eat while driving through, you should definitely stop here and enjoy a meal!...

My husband always says that my superpower is choosing small, local, family owned restaurants with really good food. Tina's Family Diner is one of the best I've tried in a long time! I had the veggie omelet with sausage and it was expertly made. The veggies were freshly chopped and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of char, and the omelet was rolled correctly and topped with fresh, grilled mushrooms. I had it smothered in green chile. Not great chile for the region, but good. Hash browns were perfectly crunchy and tender inside but not mushy. My husband's breakfast burrito had tender eggs and lots of meat. The pancake was good. Fluffy, not malty, but well made. Great patio, and I hear they make an excellent patty melt, too!
