Very rude employees! We placed a curbside pick up order and as we were instructed to do clicked the check in on the app so they would know we were there. It said our food was done but after waiting over 20 minutes my husband went inside. I’ll add here that they were not crowded at all. There was one car that went through the drive thru while we were waiting. An employee came out to bring something to that car and looked right at us as he was walking back in. The drive thru employee also looked out the window and stared at us. They clearly knew we were there. When my husband asked the girl at the counter said “yeah that’s your order on the counter “. When my husband asked why no one brought it out she said they had no way to know we were there. When he told her we confirmed we were there on the app she said again, “we have no way to know when you get here. We’re not going to just stand outside holding a bag waiting for people “. My husband said again that that’s why people confirm on the app! She then said “let me get someone else to explain this to you”. The manager was very nice and told my husband that whatever they use to see those check ins was broken and when my husband explained what the girl had said he apologized and told my husband he was going to speak to her. Read moreI'd come through about 30 minutes earlier to eat breakfast and forgot my purse on the chair I'd sat in. When I realized, I called the store. It rang for two minutes before an automated voice Said goodbye and hung up on me. This happened four times. I kept calling while I drove back, hoping that someone would answer and tell me if they saw my purse. I called a total of eight times but the next four times I called someone was actively denying my calls, as they ended seconds after they began. When I got there my purse was exactly where I left it. I asked the cashier if the number I called was the correct number and if that was why no one answered. She just straight up told me that they're busy and don't answer the phone. While my friend and I were there. One person was eating at a table and two people were ordering ahead of us. While we sat and ate 5 cars came through the drive through. When I went back no cars were in the drive through, three people were eating and one person had just ordered and gotten their food. When I told her why I was calling she began interrupting me every time I spoke asking, "well is everything there?" and "is everything fine now?" I finally just got fed up and walked out. I know….. if it’s that bad why keep going right? The answer is that I love Bojangels! And it’s right next to Sam’s and Parker’s where I shop and gas up 🤯 I keep hoping that on day the service will get better and unfortunately I get so excited sometimes that I forget to check the entire order even though I know better. I will say that they are definitely consistent, there will always be something missing! I order a 5pcs and get a 4pcs, I order 2 biscuits and get 1, I order rice and get nothing lol it’s almost like a joke that’s not funny and I’m paying for it with my money and frustration. I see someone said the manager tries the best he can well, he must have been having an off day today. I called 4 times today before someone finally answered the phone. He agreed that my experience today was crazy and thought it was funny. However, didn’t say he would speak to the staff or try to make sure orders are sent out properly going forward. He didn’t offer to redo my order or take my name down for the next visit.
