Mi Rancho 124 Dominion Dr — Restaurant in Aiken County

Our family used to frequent this place every Friday night. Lately within the last year, the service however has gone downhill. So much so, that after two weeks of disappointment back to back (ie burned food..food forgotten..and even after receiving our chips and salsa one night, waiting an additional 20 mins for no one to come take our order so that we left..mind you there were only 3 tables there INCLUDING ours) that we decided to take a break from the place.

After about 2 and a half months we decided to give them another shot. Started great..salsa and cheese dip were delicious. Then the food came..brought to us by a different server. My sons order was wrong..my daughters contents in her tacos were wrong.. My fajitas were served with a single scoup of rice and one of beans and I had to wait 10 mins to finally flag someone down for my tortillas and to fix her tacos. And then again for sauce, and the fiances beef on his nachos was WHITE. Ordered a margarita that was never brought to us.

We were understanding at first seeing as how they were beginning to pick up business. However our waitress NEVER came back. Not to fix our orders or replace our missing things or refill our drinks or to even check on us! Someone else had to be flagged down to fix the wrongs. Still never got that drink. Then we waited an additional 15 mins after we were done eating to finally find her to ask for boxes and the bill..only to be surprised at the register with a different bill!! We thought maybe we had been given a discount to right the wrongs. But sadly no.. Just met with nothing but rudeness all around.

If it was possible to leave half a star.. Or none I would. We will NEVER be back..not to this one and possibly never to another Mi...

I made an online order at this location by mistake I noticed that the wrong location was selected when I had hit the payment button. I called the store to cancel the order as it would be a 35 minute drive to this location from my home one way. They hung up on me after I cancelled the order. I called back to get the money refunded back to my card. The woman who answered the phone told me to call back in an hour when the manager would be there. He called me back five minutes later and told me that there was nothing wrong with the order and they would not be refunding me my money. I was told rudely by the manager that this was my problem and that the money was in his account and he would not be returning my money. This will be my last order from any of the Mi Rancho location. Once I drove all the way to Aiken and back to my home the food was cold and no one wanted to eat it.

Reply to Owner: We are done with all of the Mi Rancho locations. We used to visit your other locations several times a month and spend over 100 dollars a visit as we have a large family. That will no longer happen. I will take my money to another establishment that is respectful to their customers and has an appropriate refund policy. Your manager was disrespectful and refused to refund our money after I cancelled our order a few seconds after it went thru and I realized I had entered it in at the wrong location. That is unacceptable. He told me "This is your problem. There is no problem with the order"

The food went to waste as it was cold. I wasted 103 dollars at your establishment, fuel to drive to the South Aiken Location and back to my Home in...

I recently re-visited this restaurant and I'm STILL very disappointed with it. When we were served the chips and salsa, my friend held up a chip dipped in salsa with what appeared to be a hair hanging down. He brought it to the attention of the manager who said "oh that's from the onion". NO, I don't think so! We were never offered another serving of salsa. #1 rule that all servers learn the first day on the job: NEVER ARGUE OR DISAGREE WITH A CUSTOMER!!! The ONLY reason we visited it on this occasion was we were in a hurry and it was closest to my house. But I can unequivocally say NEVER AGAIN! I've taken away the 2 stars that I originally gave you because you deserve NONE. Hmmmm, won't let me post unless I give you at least 1 star, but you don't deserve it.

This restaurant USED to be top-notch and I always enjoyed their Macho Nachos HOWEVER I would not recommend this place as the quality has gotten bad. A member of our party wanted extra salsa for the nachos and was told that there would be a 99 cent charge for the extra salsa. When we were finished dining one member of our party had not finished her iced tea and wanted a to-go cup to take it with her and was told that there would be an additional 50 cent charge for that!
