Our family was in Akron for the All-American Soap Box Derby so afterwards we wanted to find a "bar & grill" type place for dinner. We happened to find Market Street Grill & Pub as the 3rd listing, saw a couple photos of the food on Google and decided to give it a shot! I'm glad we did! It's a little tricky to get into because of the parking lot placement off of a one-way street but we winged it and got parked. Inside I was impressed with the atmosphere being very clean with a slightly modern theme. There weren't many patrons here at 6 o'clock, to our surprise, so we only had to wait a couple minutes before being seated. They were easily able to accommodate our party of six and Angie (I believe) sat us and got our drink order. The menu is actually rather extensive for a pub and grill and the prices are very reasonable. I decided to try the wings since I sometimes consider myself a wing connoisseur. I ordered the wing platter which comes with 20 wings and they allow you to choose up to four flavors. I opted for the traditional hot and the "Desert Gold" (I think) and they were both very tasty and not crazy hot. The wings were cooked to a perfect crisp for my liking. The only reason that I did not give five stars is because of the manager or owner (not sure which) was constantly interrupting the waitress as she was taking orders or talking with patrons to remind her to do things or let her know additional customers had arrived. It seemed rather unprofessional. All in all, the food was great and the prices were spot on and we will definitely return in the future when we are in the Akron area!

This spot is a gem! No matter how you rate the food, the restrooms are always 10/10. (You have to see them to believe) But it also helps that the food is top notch. Buffalo chicken dip is everything. Crab rangoons. Moz sticks. Alfredo. Mac n cheese with chicken. And really loved the Sesame Crusted Tuna. I can’t wait to come back

Went off peak, everything came out quickly and correct. Server was attentive and we never ran low on drinks. Each dish was seasoned well and tasted great. The Eli ny strip was the star of the table, sizzling away on it's own iron skillet. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Before today I had eaten here once before. The first time the food was good and the waitresses were very nice. However, today it was one of the very worst experiences. Upon arrival we found out they were out of hamburger and steak so I checked the menu at the door with the waitress to see if there was something else I would like to order so that I could make a decision whether I wanted to stay there or go somewhere else. I decided to stay I seen a few things on the menu that I would order. Get to the table in the first appetizer we order they don't have. So I choose something else like the deep fried cauliflower and the breading was soggy and the cauliflower was hard in the middle almost Raw and had to cut it with a knife. Then I ordered chicken wings and my chicken is also raw and undercooked. They took one off my plate and took it in the kitchen and came back and told me it is fully cooked I continue to check my pieces of chicken and they were most definitely pink and shiny inside which means it is not cooked. So they took back. I then decided to check my godson's chicken tenders to make sure they were cooked so that he wouldn't get sick . His chicken was cooked and it was okay . However I did take a piece of his chicken and put it beside a piece of my chicken to show the waitress the difference in color and texture . When I showed her she had a nasty tone and said well we took it off . If I could figure out how to upload the picture I took I would . Not one apology or an offer of anything else . They did not offer me anything else and we're extremely rude. They told me the manager would give me a free drink if I wanted to keep the food. Why would I keep raw chicken and get a free drink! Then we asked for extra chips and dip and they said it would be $5 if we wanted extra. Couldn't even accommodate us with some free potato chips and chip dip after all of our trouble. They had the audacity to act like we were a problem when they're serving undercooked food that someone could possibly get sick off of. Then you hear the bartender talking very terribly about a customer in front of other customers I could hear him across the restaurant. He was talking very badly about whoever this person was and saying the next time she comes in he's going to completely ignore her. Running out of items on the menu is one thing but serving raw chicken and undercooked appetizers is another. On top of that extremely rude and disrespectful waitress. After today's experience I will never go back...

Went here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend, was overall not a great experience. I got a burger and tater tots, she got chicken parm spaghetti, a salad, and a margarita, with potato skins as an appetizer.

t took the server about 10 minutes to even take our order, first thing to come out was her drink, 10 minutes later. Another 20 minutes go by and her salad comes out. Then another 20-30 minutes go by and we FINALLY get our food.

My burger comes out without its tater tots (she only realized after setting it down it had none), her spaghetti comes out with the TINIEST chicken breast on top (literally like 2" x 3"), and the spaghetti is cold. Notice I didn't mention the potato skins? After she came back with the tater tots, I had to remind her we ordered those too. She goes back and gets them, they are BONE dry, so I ask for some sour cream that's supposed to come with it (didn't bring that either). Comes back with that, it's frozen in a cup and tastes like absolutely nothing.

Only good think about the entire experience was my burger and tater tots, everything else was horrible. Not to mention that the couple that came in 10 minutes after us got their food 20 minutes sooner, and the table we sat at was sticky. The place had maybe 8 people total inside and the service was this disorganized. I will NEVER be...
