The service was top notch and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was what you expected to see in a place that has a fish buffet. It could use some updating to showcase the local area or personalities. Now the important part, the food. It was all cooked perfect. But, it was typical items off of the Sysco truck. It wasn’t poor quality, it just wasn’t what I expected with a parking lot full of vehicles. The catfish was probably the best thing on the line. It was CLEAN and cooked just right. The hush puppies were meh. The stuffed crabs were food service type, but that’s ok, I like em. The crawfish boil was as expected. I understand it was out of season and you gotta use frozen. I would probably just go with a crawfish dish instead. The clam strips were a welcomed treat. Of course they are off the truck, but I like em. The trick is to not overcook them. Y’all did it. Not too bad for having new cooks. A word of advice, get away from the frozen country fried steak. Get some good bottom round, soak it in buttermilk, and dredge in seasoned flour. Trim down the menu and make what you got to make your place a true “can’t miss” stop. My daughter loved the fried green tomatoes and our server was...

There were only two other tables occupied at the time, even the waitress remarked how slow it was at that time. Not impressed with food or service, Hostess with the pink hair was...

Not wishing to wait 44 minutes, we ordered hamburgers and side items. Imagine our surprise when more guests arrived and began eating the lunch buffet at 10:25. Today was not our first visit here, and we purposely drive through Highland Home en route to Georgia to enjoy their buffet. We would have been “okay” with school cafeteria burgers if that were the only option. Additionally, my drink sat empty after our burgers arrived and my burger was missing two toppings. After our waiter finally reappeared we inquired about the lunch buffet. “Oh, it always starts at 10:30; not sure who told you 11.” So, we left one half-eaten burger and another one with one bite consumed and departed the restaurant after paying $12+ for virtually nothing. “We Don’t Care” is not an establishment we’ll patronize again and we will cease recommending it as we have done...
