Heard all the rave about this place so decided to meet my friend for lunch today. Since I skipped breakfast and it wasn’t noon yet I decided to have the ham /Cheese omelet with hash browns and toast. It was aweful! The cheese in the omelette was cold and not melted at all. The hash browns were 99% burnt hard and crusty and tasted like they had just been warmed up. I was very disappointed. My friend had a cheese burger and salad and said her burger was greasy. And I never got my toast. Since you pay as you order I tipped 20%. Not somewhere I’d go to again or recommend. Its not a swanky place. Just good food at good prices * What s difference from 1st visit . Arrive at 710 am. Low on coffee. I orders biscuit gravy and bacon . The Girl (Haley perhaps not sure ) she grunts coffee is self serve. I asked for a cup she exclames they are on the wall. I grab the black porcelain cup off drift wood hanging on wall. I want this place to succeed. Our breakfast was meh. I ordered the “platter” and My eggs over “medium” were full of uncooked egg white, the sausage overcooked and served cold. Hash browns were ok. The omelette seemed to be made ahead and was less than special. It’s a weird set up; sort of counter order, table delivery. I hope they figure it out. We won’t rush back.
