Oasis Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Alabama

A friend told me they were voted the best cheeseburger in tuscaloosa and 3rd in alabama in a 2014 competition.... I'm not a real huge fan of burgers but seeing how I've lived here all my life and I was craving one I decided to try it.... I'm no judge and really not someone who can tell a world of difference between burgers but I must say it was very good and my waitress was very nice.... I'm also a smoker so enjoyed being able to smoke while I waited for my food without having to go outside and explain to my waitress im not leaving I'm just going to smoke.... Husband and I got food to go. Yes they smoke inside which is why we took our food to go. Husband did not see anyone smoking but it smelled like cigarettes.

The person that took the order wasn’t rude but wasn’t friendly either.

Food was okay. I would not say this is the best burger like in other reviews. The meat seemed like quality meat. It could have been seasoned more. I really liked their homestyle fries/potatoes! Those were really good! I can’t remember if their ranch was good. I waited too long to do this review. Haha.

The best burger I have had in Tuscaloosa. They have fantastic ranch, the home fries are good, and they have great salads. It is a bar though, like cigarettes everywhere, smoke in the air, and a roudy crowd of people that are there to drink and socialize. I have always gotten it to go since I don't drink or smoke. They always say 20 to 25 minutes and they mean it so plan accordingly. Check the food sometimes you don't get your sauce or something. With all of that criticism it is still 5 stars, that is how good the burger is. The price isn't unreasonable either considering the size...
