Absolutely delicious BBQ, their portions are incredibly generous and the price is right! The bbq is cooked to perfection and tender. We stopped by on the way back home on a whim and I’m so glad we did. Everyone working there is friendly and the woman working gave us extra hot bbq sauce without charge. The regular pork bbq sandwich is packed full of meat and has the perfect amount of sauce (plus pickles, of course). The kids’ hot dogs are both juicy and tender, I was a little disappointed I didn’t order one for myself 😂 if you’re in the area, it’s worth the stop, and if you’re not… it’s worth the drive. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This place is great. Truly lives up to its name but is some of the best barbecue in the area. I had the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and onion rings. The onion rings are beer-battered and always fried exceptionally with a great taste. The baked beans are definitely savory with a slight sweetness to them. The sandwich is the crown jewel. It was quality meat piled high with a nice amount of barbecue sauce and enough pickles to add the crunch and tanginess. This was a great meal and I would not recommend getting this and going back to work cause you very well might be caught sleeping if you do.

We decided to go try the shack‘s outside barbecue. I ordered the barbecue salad which was good, but I forgot to tell Wendy outside sliced so I received chopped. My husband ordered the outside sliced barbecue sandwich and he was very pleased. He said it was excellent. He was very pleased with the sandwich, but the crinkle fries were not up to the same standard as the BBQ. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed the food and meeting Wendy and Michael. The only reason we didn’t rate five stars was the fries.

Phenomenal Customer Service! We were hosting our son’s rehearsal dinner for his wedding. We arrived from out of town with the intent to be grilling. We stopped by the Shack BBQ on the recommendation of other family and requested catering on July 3 for a Fourth of July event. Sharon and her family were unbelievably accommodating and provided a fantastic meal for the 70 people we were hosting. The food was fantastic and the short notice support on a holiday was extraordinary. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend the Shack barbecue.

Gratefully! Randy...

We literally JUST left from the Shack. It was the best bbq we've had in years. We got a plate with sliced smoked pork and sides. The meat was SO tender! Onion rings weren't homemade, but were very good. Some of these country places will give you sliced loaf bread with your meal, but at The Shack you get a roll on your plate. The cole slaw was very good, not grated and mushy like some places. It was so good we took home a lb of pork for tomorrow. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. If you go there read their story on the back of the menu. Family owned and operated since 1983. We will...

I am hard to please when it comes to BBQ. The chopped pork sandwich was very meaty and had a wonderful smoked taste. I like a finer cut slaw but the taste was good. The beans were good as well. I washed my hands and found the restroom to be basic but clean. The building is an old log style building and is full of local character, such as football, racing and music items. For a low ceiling, it was very quiet. The staff were very attentive and offered a to-go drink. The price was about what you would expect. With tip, 2 can eat for about $26-$27. I highly recommend you give them a try. (They have a...
