Stopped hoping for a good soup and sandwich. This is the one place we've found to have true deli sandwiches. Wow! The bread is thick cut, piled high and tastes amazing. Wrapped in butcher paper and handed to you in a brown bag . Eat in the side patio area or out front. The tea is solid and good. Soup was definitely my comfort food of the day. We got egg salad on croissant with potato salad ( with dill) and a roast beef, turkey,ham on rye marbled bread. They deliver in Alachua for free. Worth the drive! Open only for lunch.

They do 1/2 table service. You have to place your order, then get a table (at 2:30pm was not a problem). They bring drinks, then they bring your food packed to go (well, brown paper bag, plastic silverware, and Napkins). Everything was very good, I should have believed the cook? when he said the coleslaw was sweet. It definitely wasn't sour! Friend's blt had way too much bacon and too little Lettuce and tomato. Sandwiches were huge.

How did I not know this was here? Found this place on Happy Cow app when looking for a place my husband, a carnivore, and I to get some lunch. North Florida has a dearth of vegetarian options. I ordered the Curried tempeh sandwich and it was delicious! They have a good number of vegetarian options. It's somewhat off the beaten path but still easily accessible. I will definitely make this a regular stop.

How did I not know this was here? Found this place on Happy Cow app when looking for a place my husband, a carnivore, and I to get some lunch. North Florida has a dearth of vegetarian options. As a nutritionist and Hispanic I am pretty picky about reviews in restaurants. I can say that this place looks clean and the kitchen (from far away) looks decent. No bad smells. Good prices for what you get.

Menu: loves so many veggie options and some including fruits, different types of sandwiches, homemade soups and more. Vegan Mayo and gluten free options was a plus.

Food: Pea soup had to much pepper but it was creamy and good. Coconut chicken soup was amazing! Cuban sandwich was very good. Potato salad side was tasty. Pesto pasta needed more seasoning. BLT and another crossaint were large and good too.

Is hard to find good food and homemade soup with healthy selection including vegan, dairy free and gluten...

This was my first time dining in at the Alachua location. Let's start with a positive, the food was outstanding, however, the atmosphere was amongst the worst I've ever experienced. The cashier/server said nothing other than taking our order. The rest of the staff or whoever those other people were said nothing. No welcome, how was your food, thanks for coming in, nothing. I've come not to expect as much interaction with people as in years past, but this was ridiculous. I thought it was just me, but my wife said the same thing. We were the only 2 customers, so they weren't swamped. Maybe they were having a bad day, I don't know. I probably won't...

Greeted upon entry, cashier was friendly. Promptly got our drinks and food. Food tasted fantastic! I was very happy. Perfect portion sizes (maybe on the large size). My only ā€œcomplaintā€ was the chicken on chicken salad was cold. Just a personal preferenceā€¦ facility was clean and dark (yet well lit). I'm definitely going back.

Update: Iā€™ve tried a few different things on the menu and have yet to find something I donā€™t like. Which surprises me because Iā€™m a picky eater. The delivery is quick and staff stay polite. Also, they warm the chicken upon request

Update: they no longer offer delivery and are moving to a different location. Still love...
