First off, the food was great. That was not the problem. The problem was our waiter. Good service is one thing, but when you are at the table every 5 minutes, it is a nuisance! We asked for some time before we ordered, but the waiter appeared 3 different times before we were ready to order. The food came out quickly and was presented nicely and tasted delicious. As soon as our plates were empty, they were immediately picked up...I mean literally just moved to the side, and it was gone! The bill was presented, and the waiter explained what was needed and stood right there to take care of it and tell us there was a survey to be completed!! Once that was completed, we were deciding what we were going to do from there, and a person came and picked up our glasses. This entire experience felt like we were being rushed out, not enjoyable at all. There was not a rush for tables. There were plenty of empty tables, so our table was not needed for another party waiting. We were just rushed from start to finish. The interior didnât change much but we noticed some improvements externally like a new walkway to replace the old one and a working water fountain by the door. The customer service was better than it used to be; from the hostess, server and perhaps the chef or a manager greeting tables. We were happy to learn they kept the thin pizza, some pasta recipes while adding a variety of sandwiches and burgers. The ribs got top accolades as did the âperfectlyâ lightly breaded perch. The chicken Parmesan was delicious and with an included side, you could easily split the dish as the portion was so generous. BUTâŚthe pizza was absolutely wonderful and to be honest, hard to tell the difference from the previous ownerâs version. We really liked Joeâs EBA with a side dinner salad.
