Sicily's Pizza Wasilla — Restaurant in Alaska

On 08/23/21 around 8:30 in the evening I received a call from a local number. Not thinking much of it I answered the call. The person on the other end asked who I was. I hesitantly said my first name. The person then informed me the order I had placed the night prior had been paid using someone else's card and asked me to explain. I had no explanation as I used my card, the same card I have always used to place my online order the same was I always do. The caller tried to tell me the last 4 of said card and even the last name of the owner. It was no card I had ever heard of before, aside from that I think I would know if I someone entered some random card number complete with security code and expiration date. The caller then went on to accuse my of stealing this card and threatening me with a police report. I can't attest to what happened other than I did not steal anyone's information. I can afford a $17 pizza myself. I went to the store and paid what they say I owed. Even though this should have already been paid using the card I provided. I  later found out the person who called me was an employee of the store. Not a manager. Not the owner. He was given all my personal information. My full name, my phone number, my order details and allowed to call me with these threats. Saying I needed to be at the store in 20 minutes or the police would be called. Whatever happened I will never be eating here again. They clearly have something wrong with their systems. I don't need some random person calling and literally harassing me especially when I have done nothing wrong! I don't know how their system could have swapped my card out but somehow it must have. I literally used my Google pay. You click the card number you want to use (MY CARD) my finger print was scanned ro verify my identity and I had to enter the security code on the back of MY card, as usual. Beware if you eat here. Maybe the wrong card will somehow be charged and maybe you'll be on the receiving end of an employee temper tantrum. And before anyone assumes I did try to speak with a manager, as did my fiance and there was not one available. What a joke. There are plenty of pizza joints in the valley. Ones with better quality too...

Sicily’s Pizza in Wasilla, Alaska is absolutely next-level—this place is a hidden pizza powerhouse! If Dave Portnoy ever makes it up here, I swear he’d throw out his rulebook and just say, “10 out of 10.”

The service was equally impressive. Our hostess was super friendly and down-to-earth, and though I didn’t catch her name, I did learn she’s dating the cook—who clearly knows what he’s doing back there! She even hooked us up with an upgraded pie, saving us a few bucks and making the experience that much better.

And the prices? Very reasonable. You’re getting serious quality without the big-city price tag.

If you’re anywhere near Wasilla and craving pizza, do yourself a favor and hit up Sicily’s. It’s everything you want in a local spot: great food, good people, and a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back...

Waste of time and money as well as they advertise open 24/7 however attempted to order several pizzas for our night shift crew around midnight via internet. Order confirmed, 3 minutes later received a call from Anchorage stating the restaurant was closed. Apparently Palmer closes despite the website stating open 11am-5am. Then called 333-8000, individual answered, I inquired if they were open, stated yes; I would like to place an order for delivery after spending time to provide order details was then told Sicily's won't deliver to Palmer. What the hell? False advertisement to state open 24/7 and at best at least include no delivery service to Palmer after whatever time they decide to close. All was saved, called another Pizza place and although they were about to close they stated they normally will not deliver after 11pm, they made an exception and the owner...
