Every meal is $20. Been eating here when they were new to Glennallen wife literally used to road trip 100miles one way for some. Food was authentic, fresh vegetables, lady had a huge smile small little operation 1-2 people. We loved it, the price is high but i understand.

Fast forward close to a decade or more I’d imagine, the little restaurant is established, instead of a old suburban and big smiles now we get child made flavorless food and a Porsche outside. Glad they made it but I grew up on the cheap frozen veggies they’re using now, pretty sure chickpeas isn’t authentic tai food, pac r veg from Safeway frozen melody…. The green onions are used root to tip chopped precisely to 1” length haha. If I wasn’t spitting unchewable stocks and pulling pure fat and gristle out of my mouth I wasn’t eating. Portions are smaller than ever, less than 2oz of pork in my pad tai, wife’s veggie pad Thai was a ghost of before.

It was done quickly however and I think it was recently cooked which makes it still the best Asian cuisine outside of Anchorage and Fairbanks. i could eat it and it was done quickly, not hard to get good ratings from me. It’s the first time I’ve been let down so a 3 star instead of 1 or 2, But really...

Hello Alaska! Two things to remember which Google does not mention 1. Tok Thai is a take out only place (no dine-in available) Point number 2. Good food, good food, good food! Being on a Thanksgiving day really difficult to find a restaurant serving beyond 2pm afternoon! Everybody was shut when Tok Thai in Glenallen was our Messiah 😀 After a lot of calls and online research we found Tok Thai which was open and ready to serve till 9pm! Bless you Jeb (sweet lady who will take your order from the window and also cook for you :) The 25 option printed menu & few more options written on a paper are to choose from... We ordered

#2 Egg rolls, #4 Chicken fried rice, #6 Spicy chicken fried rice, #19 Tom yum spicy chicken soup (2 portions is also served with plain rice) Price wise all the items are 20$ each. Portion is good/ massive👍🏻😊 one portion of Tom yum soup served with plain rice was saved for dinner. Flavour taste wise excellent 👌🏻 Savoury, delicious...

Update: I went back and this time the Green Curry was just like it used to be! The normal larger portion, lots of veggies, lots of rice, and the taste was amazing! It must have been a fluke the one time I got such a bad small meal, it’s back to being my favorite green curry! Thank you for fixing this Tok Thai! I’d give 5 stars but I don’t love the chicken rib meat, it’d be 5 stars if it was breast meat but I understand because that increased the price, either way it’s delicious! I’ve been coming here since they opened and have always loved it but unfortunately the quality has gone down hill. I always get Chicken Green Curry and it always has veggies in it. My last visit there was no veggies, the container size shrank, the price increased, and that “fresh” taste was gone. I wish they would get the quality back that they had when they started. You can certainly taste the difference between fresh and cheap. Hopefully it was...

Please do not go to this restaurant. It is not at all Thai—I don't think it is any cuisine. The fried rice was more like mixed frozen vegetables with plain rice. The pad see ew, which is a common wide rice noodle dish in Thai restaurants, was instead rice with chicken on the side (emphasis on the ew, I guess). On top of all that, each dish was $15?? And for barely any quantity. They didn't even give us extra plates when we asked, and told us to use the opposite side of the takeout box. Though were were starving, I would've rather preferred to eat at the gas station nearby.
