We stopped here for breakfast while on our way to Florida. The young man at the counter and the woman who brought our food to our table were both very kind and welcoming, but the general manager is not the nicest and has a very unfriendly disposition. Now my kid is 7 and a lot of breakfast restaurants have kids meals where they serve the waffle/pancakes with whip cream so that is just what she’s used to (once again she’s only 7) The man at the register told me yes after I asked him if they have whip cream which I could also clearly see on the menu since their shakes are served with whipped cream. He turned around to ask the manager how to add a side of whip cream to my daughter’s pancakes. She responded very nastily while we were standing there saying “WHAT?” So he repeated himself then she says “NO we don’t do that” um lady you are speaking loud enough for us to hear after we have already established that your store does have whip cream you could at least turn around since we are literally staring at the back of your head and simply say hey sorry we don’t have an option to add a side of whip cream to our pancakes. I mean it is my kid asking for it after all. Seriously, most managers try to have a little bit of a better attitude when telling a customer no especially a child but not this lady here. It’s completely fine that you don’t serve whip cream for the pancakes and my daughter is mature enough to understand but the delivery was completely off. Other than that I will say my daughter did still enjoy her pancakes and I can agree they were simply delicious when I had a bite! No whip cream needed! Other than that my sausage and biscuit were gross, extremely salty and so was the hash brown brown bowl that my mother in law got so I am guessing it’s the gravy that is overly salty. I will say the pricing is nice. $3 dollars and some change for two big pancakes. We all 3 ate breakfast for around $20 bucks can’t beat that, but you could just go somewhere that cost a little more and has better food. My two star rating is based strictly on the food. I won’t take into account the experience I had from the general manager because honestly the man at the counter and our server made up for it they were two very...
Read moreJust wanted to say we super appreciate the staff today as we had a little fiasco. We ordered to go and a couple who ordered a little bit after us got the last side that we ordered before. A girl came from the drive thru area with box dyed bleach blonde hair with her roots showing to tell us we can wait 20 minutes after we already waited 30 minutes. She then told us she didn’t bag the order, it wasn’t on her. I asked if we could just get a refund and she snidely said yes ma’am and walked off. Once she got out of sight you could hear her throw something out of frustration because even the employees side eyed her. The cashier, the lady who was bagging and jumped on the second register, the girl who was trying to process our refund, even a girl came from the drive thru with her headset on to help, amazing. They were super sweet and apologetic, we were even apologetic because we hate being those people. The lady who jumped on the register talked us into staying to get our order, she hurried to the back trying to rush them for our side order. She went over and beyond and they did not have to. Thank you so much ladies! We also forgot our gallon of tea and they chased us out to give it us, we really appreciated their kindness and customer service. The food as always...
Read moreI've had their breakfast twice, so I decided to eat supper here with my family. I chose the 2 meats and 2 sides combo, my wife got the shrimp combo with a baked potato and green beans. My daughter ordered a kids grilled cheese sandwich, with Mac and cheese meal, yes I know she loves cheese more than a mouse does I think. As usual our orders can fast, this a plus, since my meal was warm, not hot like you would expect a chicken and ribs to be.My sides were onion petals and sweet potato souffle. The onion petals were pretty good, it came with dipping sauce, but I didn't even use it. The souffle was very good it had baked pecans, some cinnamon and sugar. My daughter's meal was served on a paper towel the server put down for her, no basket or some kind of resemblance of a plate, at least and Mac and cheese was in a styrofoam cups. My wife loved the shrimp, even saying it was better than a local seafood and BBQ we have here. Service is always top notch, when there isn't many to serve in the restaurant. There weren't many people eating in, and this was around 2000 hrs. (8:00pm). They are somewhat busy for breakfast, but that is a whole other review. If your wanting quick BBQ, go here, if your wanting good Southern BBQ, look for...
