My daughter and I arrived hoping to eat dinner here. When we walked in, no staff was present for a few minutes. Then someone came out from the back, looked at us, did something behind the bar and returned to the back. No acknowledgment whatsoever. After about three more minutes someone else came out from the back and asked if we needed something. I let him know that, yes, we were hoping to have dinner. He told me to go find a table, but he said it like I was supposed to just know this (despite there being no signage indicating as such). After a few more minutes someone else came out with menus. I let her know what we wanted right away (this was not our first time in and we knew what we wanted already). She didn't write any of it down, left and then after a while came back asking again what it was we wanted. So after 33 minutes of being there, our order was finally put in. When I gave the order, I specifically asked for ranch to come with the fries. When we did get the food, no ranch. So we asked yet another new person (to us) for ranch. He left and never came back with it. So I got up to ask our original server for the ranch we asked for when we ordered. No apology. Just a, "I'll be to your table in a bit to help." I let her know that I didn't want to wait any longer and could she just get us some ranch. After a few more minutes, the ranch came - after we were half way done with our meals. I mentioned that I wanted to place a to-go order to take home to my husband and she never came back to get that order. So I went to the bar and asked if they could please put in the order for the burger. The food came out and I asked if we could please pay. Our original server never came back to our table. I never got my drink order, though I was still charged. I needed to get my daughter home for homework and was tired of waiting for literally anyone to give any attention. I left the amount for the check and no tip (because why?). There were three tables occupied and six staff members that we saw. Side note: the bathroom was disgusting. Feces on the seat, something really gross in the sink and the floor was covered in toilet paper. I opted to wait and just go home. Bottom line: if you want to feel unwelcome and have mediocre food and the worst service, this...
Read moreGreat beer and friendly staff! Recently completed a kitchen upgrade and the menu changed (mostly due to having a fryer). The grub was still delicious...a small, but quality sandwich menu with a couple appetizers as well (don't try to eat here if you're on a diet, but vegetarian option...grilled cheese may be one of the best around). The main show is their brew and what a show it is. We tried the imperial stout, the hazy IPA, a sour, and a Pilsner and all were top notch. They also have really great craft cocktails. The vibe is really chill and friendly; I can't imagine anyone going there and not feeling welcome. They even have some board games in the back to play at your table. In the desert of restaurants and bars in northeast Albuquerque, this place is a...
