Came here after playing 18 holes at the new Lakewood Links (previously Alburg Golf Links). The course and the restaurant are both under new ownership so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially given they just opened (the bartender told me it was their second day of service). First impression was that they did an incredible job with the clubhouse interior. All new decor, furniture, two brand new shuffleboard tables, a super stylish bar setup and brand. I was really impressed. Sat outside on the enormous outdoor deck that overlooks the first tee box / fairway, and lake champlain. Awesome view. I had the chicken parm sandwich (it was GOOD) and a couple of beers. The new beer list has a ton of variety — like 10–15 beers on tap. Standard light lagers + a bunch of local/regional favorites, IPAs, etc. They even have Hill Farmstead Edward on tap which is pretty rare to find. Service was friendly and the vibe was really great, even in the early season. I think this is my favorite new spot on the islands and I’m sure I’ll be a regular this summer. It feels fresh and unique in all the right ways.

Good spot with potential. The food and service were good, though the real standout is the beautiful lake view from the deck. The lunch menu is small and basic, but the fries were unique and delicious. The wings were also great. Fun atmosphere, toddler-friendly.

Perhaps brunch isn’t their best time and considering that just some suggestions of the “chef” to not have direct conversations with staff in front of customers, have staff welcome everyone and not pay extra attention to their friends group within staff or as patrons, and increase organization and work flow even during busy times. There was a vibe and sense of staff feeling overwhelmed and...

Great spot with outstanding views of lake Champlain. We dined on the outside deck with panoramic views of the lake, Bonus was watching golfers tee off the first tee. Food was very good (we had the Bang bang shrimp and Shrimp Alla Vodka ) with excellent service. Only downside is that prices are a bit high and add up quickly. However, all things considered, we...
