Very little bar with attached restaurant, can eat on either side. Kitchen closes at 8pm Had the Smokehouse burger minus the jalapeños. Excellent burger & the grilled/sautéed onions added great flavor. Fresh cut fries are always my favorite. Plenty of street parking. Very friendly staff. All topped off with good prices. Will be hard for me to try something else but a friend said his breaded pork tenderloin was also excellent. Was also told they could make a pizza with pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, & jalapeños so guess I'll have a tough decision next time I'm there. Will definitely be a next time!

Burger was well done, buttered grilled bun, and had the right kinda jalapeño on them as a slight amount of heat to go with the burger. Fries where great, I think they are cut in the kitchen.

Looove it. Great people, exxxxcellent food. Come visit Alexis, IL SOON and try out the hand pounded, lightly breaded, wonderful tenderloins.....at the Pumphouse!! So glad these folks bought the place and started up this little diner! Hubby and I don't need to leave and "go into town" (meaning....drive 25 minutes to Galesburg or Monmouth or Aledo) anymore just to have a great...
