Definitely add this to your places to stop. we were coming home from Gettysburg and stopping at the 9/11 Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA. Hillegas is maple sugar camp. Rebecca gave us a complete tour and explained how the whole process of creating this delicious pure maple syrup. she allowed us to taste and sample the amazing choices of products. I left with maple BBQ sauce which was so yummy, they had regular and spicy. I loved them both. I also purchased the maple peanut butter. and the maple raspberry sauce no sugar added for ice cream. Oh my goodness, wait til you get some of their maple with vanilla or maple with cinnamon for your coffee or hot tea. Finally, their syrups were the purest and tastiest of all they offered a dark robust favor and a medium amber and a lite maple flavors something for everyone's taste. This nice tucked away place is fantastic! Their place is a Harvest Host for campers and RV’s. The Maple syrup is delicious. We tried just about everything as Rebecca (one of the owners) did a tour for us. Maple BQ sauce oh yum!! We also had some of their ice cream which is oh so good. The Hillegas Sugar Camp is the home of an incredibly friendly family who make some of the best maple-roasted cashews and maple sugar cotton candy we've ever had.

Edit: I've yet to find a dish that Spicy Maple BBQ Sauce doesn't improve.
