I decided to tag along with my roommate to a restaurant where he had a gift card. So I figured, why not? When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. Unfortunately, my food didn't quite meet expectations. I ordered a well-done Western Burger, but what I got was a dry, overcooked Kaiser bun with burnt bacon, and the cheddar cheese that was supposed to be melted on the burger had already dripped off. The fries, however, were great—crispy and not overdone.
My friend ordered a BLT cheesesteak sandwich, which he enjoyed, though the lettuce had an off taste—almost as if it had absorbed something from being stored too close to it. He also had a side of coleslaw, which he described as awesome, and the homemade chips were perfectly seasoned and crispy.
We decided to take a chance and order a fried cheesecake to go. The presentation was nice, but unfortunately, the tortilla shell was overcooked. The ends were burnt, which ruined the experience.
Overall, while the staff was friendly and the place wasn’t crowded, I wish the food had been better. Maybe next time I’ll try sitting at the bar side for a...
Read moreNot sure why this establishment is getting 5 stars . Yes the server was attentive. But the beer my husband ordered was on the menu as on tap and she brought a bottle saying it’s no longer available and not to be impolite he took it. She really didn’t give him the option. The decor is very nice for a potential sports bar. But I came for the food. This is only a two star. You can make better at home. I had The buffalo chicken cheese steak. I believe the chicken had been made earlier in the day. It was dry and strong. The blue cheese and sauce only topped the sandwich. It had not been incorporated into the entire sandwich. I needed to ask for something to bring the sandwich to life. My husband’s wrap was ok as were the fries. Other local establishments offer a better fry. I hope the Seemsville gets its stuff together. I have been here through 3 owners all who could not make it a go. All failed due to bad food. You may think the atmosphere will carry you through but you...
Read moreSo excited to go to the new Seemsville Pub & Grill. The stars were for the staff writing a personal thank you note for our business. Very impressive! Unfortunately, the rest was disappointing. There’s no character to the inside. It’s very bare with a generic bar room. For a “Pub” it’s not cozy and doesn’t lend to inviting you to stay and enjoy drinks with friends. There is nothing special about the food. Maybe have a few house made specialty dishes that really get people talking. Possibly even source fresh ingredients from the local farmers. I get fresh veggies and fruit from the house across the street. I’d be so impressed if they made a watermelon drink advertising that it was grown across the street and dressed with a little slice of the watermelon. These little touches will go a long way with the locals. I will go back once in a while to see if anything’s changed. I hope so because I want...
