Wonderful Kitchen — Restaurant in Alliance

As with a lot of panhandle businesses the Wonderful Kitchen appears a wee bit sketchy on the outside. Once inside though the ambiance, decor, and friendliness quickly transition the experience into dining pleasure. Got to say that since the re-opening after having been closed down for the Sars-COV-2 / Covid-19 pandemic (yes, I'd have erred on the side of caution myself by shutting down for a while) this restaurant seems to still be continuing to struggle somewhat to gather it's feet back under themselves. Oh, the attentiveness of the waiting staff remains high as does the quality of the food dishes, but it's as if an already relatively expensive restaurant got even more so in an effort to "catch up" financially. Portions seem even smaller to me now, okay but just not quite enough to fill the emptiness called "hungry". Still, easily 4 stars. Looking forward to the return of 5 stars, in...

Used to love to eat here. Now not so much. The food is still pretty good but the service and prices are getting ridiculous. They made us pay an extra $2 for sweet & sour sauce. Pretty sad in my opinion to charge for something like that when it should come with you meal when you spend about $50. I continue to go back but only when I'm really desperate and really hungry for their food. I've learned how to cook a lot of the stuff I like on my own so only go there on the spur of the moment. I got off work kinda late and checked into a hotel because I work out of state. I was hungry for Chinese food. I got the flyer from front desk and ordered the Po-Po Tray and Egg drop soup. After waiting 30 min, it came and I dug right in. I was so disappointed in the size of portions and quality of food, I had to throw 80% of it in the garbage from being under flavored to way over cooked. I went to Pizza Hut in Alliance for dinner. I would NOT recommend this restaurant for delivery EVER. Maybe in house dining is better, I will never know. PS.. I wish I could get...
