Coffee Wizardz — Restaurant in Allouez

A place like this should not really be doing well – but it is! Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, blocks away from any major thoroughfare, and snuggled behind a small corner strip mall and a dance studio! But let me tell you, it is worth looking for!

This is not your “designed to make everybody happy“ Java joint. They know what they do well, and they just seem to keep getting better at it!

They have a small menu of espresso drinks, and a handful of eats available. That said, their draft nitro latte is to absolutely die for! And as you’re sucking that last breath of satisfied life, make sure you have some of their thick nut butter toast with honey!

A recently finished building-long mural adorns the buildings west side, while inside a quiet wood-based, cozy atmosphere with some stools by windows, 4 cushioned chairs, and a public table offer pleasant seating with plenty of electrical outlets nearby.

Unlike any other coffee shop I have patronized in the past 20 years, I have yet to be here without meeting someone I know, engaging in a new conversation with a perfect Stranger, Or having a pleasant chat with some of the staff across the counter.

This is a golden nugget of a find If you love coffee, or a quaint comfortable...

Updating my review here. Been frequenting this establishment for over a year now and all I can say is wow! How much this cafe has grown is inspiring. The degree of complexity and creativity that goes into each one of these drinks just keeps me coming back for more! I just tried this "Mexico Mojito" drink they have on their menu and it was one of the most guzzleable drinks I've had from a cafe in a very very long time. They recently started adding various treats such as cookies, toast, and these delicious truffles that I'm just addicted to at this point. I'm so excited to see where this cafe will go from here, and I will always boast to my friends that my coffee spot is better than yours, because guess what, it is! Coffee geeks rejoice! The staff here are friendly and totally into coffee, which makes it a place I will come back to when I'm in town. Their roasts are great and drinks equally impressive. The decor is very cool too. Original post was a year ago and we keep coming back every time we are in GB. We are never disappointed, still rock solid coffee, period! As of 10/2023 one barista has continually disappointed so we no longer go to this location. 3 strikes and you are out. The coffee is great but if it can't be prepared correctly it's not worth having.
