Dirty Jersey Tavern — Restaurant in Alloway Township

Saw one of the greatest punk bands here years ago called The Y i Oughtta's and they blew the whole bar away. Not only was I not expecting a local punk band to be from the sticks of south jersey but I am glad I stopped in to this bar that day. I think the bar was called the village tavern then but either way I hope they have another punk band or bands play there soon cause i would really love to see them play this bar gain. This place is a hidden gem! We had the best time and felt like we were vip’s even though the bar was packed! We went for the crabs but also ended up ordering a shrimp quesadilla and a prime rib to split and I can’t rave enough about the food. Everything came out quickly and hot and was amazing! Our waitress was top notch and catered to our every need! Drinks were also quick to be refilled and we never felt rushed! Can’t wait to bring my other family back to try it! Went there yesterday for the first time with some family members! Walking up to the door, what smacked me in the face was how dirty the doors were! Looked like the glass doors hadn’t been cleaned in weeks & this was within an hour of opening! The waitress was nice. Drinks were good, but have been sick all day since eating the chicken nachos!
