Turtle Pond Tavern — Restaurant in Alma Center

Omg, this place is awesome. Been here the last few days. Ate mini tacos, pretzel bites, fish sandwhich, buffalo chicken sandwhich, steak Sammie with onions and cheese, beer cheese burger, jalepeno burger, the big dill pizza, and the country steak breakfast. Not 1 thing was bad!!! The beer cheese burger was probably our most favorite, but I would eat all again. Only side we tried was the brew fries with beer cheese so cant comment on anything besides those. Can't wait to try more pizzas our next visit because this is the best pizza I've had around here. A group of us went there for lunch an hour after they opened for the day. One person ordered the special of the day and they were out. Another ordered a different special of the day the famous mash potatoe bowl it was cold instant mash potatoes gravy that was just colored water unmelted cheese on top. Another got a fish sandwich which was 2 tiny pieces of fish that were burnt. 3 others got taco salad which hardly had any filling in them. Was very disappointed and will not...

Stopped in for lunch today, first time visitors. We were so impressed with the place, clean, friendly staff and good food. We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese. They were awesome, crisp on the outside and really soft inside. Diane was our server and she was training JD. They both came to our table several times to check on our food order and drinks. We will definitely be back. Happy holidays to the entire crew at Turtle Pond...
