The "manager" at the roadside bbq needs a class on customer service. The ribs were incredibly tough, even the replacements we were given were nearly as bad. We ordered the 3 meat dinner with beans and mac & cheese and never received the brisket. Mac & cheese had no seasoning and noodles were mushy. Beans were decent. We had eaten most of the meal (two adults split so it wasn't much food between the 2 of us) then realized the brisket was missing. When we asked about it, we were simply told "too bad, you must've eaten it", as if we were trying to scam them into getting more food. Also, one of the cooks kept running back and forth across the road with gloves on so it only leads me to think theyre not being changed in between food prep. Definitely will not be back for barbecue unfortunately. *we did bring up our poor experience to a manager on the inside and were given a rack of ribs to take home for later. And he was very kind and apologetic to us, so hopefully we are able to salvage them for dinner this week. Otherwise this would have been a one star review.

After realizing this place had a separate review for itself and seeing some of the reviews wow. Did not think it was that bad. Potato salad amazing, pulled pork amazing, ribs almost amazing and brisket wet and salty but went well with the cornbread muffin, which was some of the best cornbread we've had. Lil pieces of corn and jalapeno throughout. Mac and cheese was, a bit dry and, yeah it's hard for them to keep it moist I suppose. Prices weren't that bad I don't think, $22 for three meats, cornbread and two sides. Fed two people so $11 a piece. One of the amazing things about sitting there and eating is that the whole time you have the most wonderful aromatherapy coming from the smoker constantly. Amazing to sit and wallow in it while your eating, the most beautiful smoked meat smells. Was a beautiful day and all the staff seemed very friendly with smiles and greetings.

We ordered the Pig Pen. Very large portion. All sides were great.

Had high hopes for the bbq and going here a bunch for the inside store.

Myriad of people so we weren't the only ones there. Food was awfully expensive for how not good everything was. I wasn't expecting Texas bbq but I hoped it'd match a commercial establishment like Mission Bbq. Got the bbq mix plate for the family (with each of the meats) and found it to be dry and not flavorful. The meats seemed to have been warmed over the last couple days. Bought the fresh fries and they were bland an didn't taste like I hoped they would.

Son got the turkey leg and it was terrible. Dry and chewy with an odd flavor.

The bar mixed drinks were nothing to write home about either.

Workers are similar to inside, not super personable.

After spending over $100, I would never go back for any of it. Will continue to buy from the...
