What started off as a pleasant find, turned not great when I looked at the receipt that was emailed to me. They charged me $23.10 tip on a $66 dollar order. That is 35%... wowee crazy tip for a takeout order. I got there, the owner I presume was very nice, she gave my daughter a crochet Christmas ornament. We waited a while for the food in the dining area 15-20 minutes. Once it was ready she came back with the card reader, used the tap to pay, it did not prompt for a tip....I REALLY hope this was a card reader error and somehow the screen is so sensitive that it magically tapped add a tip option before I removed the card from the tap....... BUT I didn't ever see a tip option. I don't know of any establishments that provide 35% as an automated option, normally is is 18/20/25. So I am very doubtful... 23 dollar tip on 66 dollar meal which 66 buys you 6 slices and 6 meatballs... so $10 for 1 slice and 1 meatball BEFORE that crazy tip. 90 dollars after tip for that, 6 slices 6 meatballs.... Had to finish cooking in the oven as only the crust was cooked correctly, dough was pale as pale could be.

There's a lot to love about Filthy Animals! Our family does "Pizza Friday" every week, and theirs is my favorite slice! Stuffed with high quality cheese and pepperoni, topped with a DELICIOUS meatball and marinara šŸ¤ŒšŸ» Their pasta is also amazing! When they switch it up with fusion, their street tacos are to die for, and their elote is incredible! Don't forget the garlic knots 🤤 which the Chef graciously brought to us while we waited for our food. The customer service is what kicks it over the top. The Chef and his wife are SO friendly, SO hospitable, SO sweet, you WANT to come back over and over again. Go out of your way to find this place and try their stuffed slices and whatever delicious concoctions they're offering (it changes occasionally, which makes it fun to try new items every couple of weeks!) And tell a friend! We want to keep them around here in Alvarado!

Denise and Charles were so nice!! The cheese ravioli was delicious, and the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had!!! and I loved the Christmas home alone theme so much! They made us feel like family while serving probably some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, and trust me I like Italian food šŸ˜‰. Thank you so much!!

I saw a video review of a new Italian place here in Alvarado, and the food looked amazing, so I drove a whole mile from home to try it. It did not disappoint! They have three varieties of stuffed pizzas: pepperoni, beef, and spinach today, so I got the spinach which came with a huge meatball, garlic knots, and the freshest, prettiest salad. Everything was delicious! I don’t know what their prices are because I was brave enough to try a new place and got my lunch for free, as their very first customer. It’s ā€œHome Aloneā€ themed, so don’t be thrown by their name, ā€œFilthy Animals.ā€ 🤣🤣🤣 Located in the commercial park between 810 and Baker Lane off the east bound lane of 67. They are toward the back of the park, but you can’t miss their bright red food truck. Seating inside the open air warehouse.

As for the one star review above, that lady needs to call them back so they can fix it like they offered. It was obviously a mistake or glitch of some sort. What kind of new business would even TRY...
